DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
Petroleum Traders Corporation*, Fort Wayne, Indiana, is
being awarded a $13,260,313 fixed price with economic price
adjustment contract for regular unleaded gasoline; diesel fuel,
DL-1; diesel fuel, DL-2; midgrade unleaded gasoline; premium
unleaded gasoline; fuel oil #2; and diesel fuel, low sulfur no. 2-
D. Two hundred ten proposals were solicited and fifty eight were
received. Work will be performed in New Jersey, New York, and
Pennsylvania and is expected to be completed by August 30, 1999.
Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense
Fuel Supply Center, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, is the contracting
activity (SP0600-96-D-4040).
S.J. Fuel Company, Inc.*, Brooklyn, New York, is being
awarded a $6,574,512 fixed price with economic price adjustment
contract for fuel oil #2. Two hundred ten proposals were
solicited and fifty eight were received. Work will be performed
in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania and is expected to be
completed by August 30, 1999. Funds will not expire at the end
of the fiscal year. The Defense Fuel Supply Center, Fort
Belvoir, Virginia, is the contracting activity (SP0600-96-D-
4047).
Naughton Energy*, Pocono Pines, Pennsylvania, is being
awarded a $17,245,584 fixed price with economic adjustment
contract for regular unleaded gasoline; high sulfur diesel fuel
no. 2; and burner oil no. 2. Three hundred sixty seven proposals
were solicited and sixty four were received. Work will be
performed in various locations throughout the mid-Atlantic and is
expected to be completed by August 30, 1999. Funds will not
expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Fuel Supply
Center, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, is the contracting activity
(SP0600-96-D-4091).
Owens & Minor Corporation, Glen Allen, Virginia, is being
awarded a $6,427,601 firm fixed price indefinite quantity
contract for medical/surgical supplies under the Prime Vendor
medical/surgical program. Approximately three hundred proposals
were solicited and seven
were received. Work will be performed in Livermore, California,
and is expected to be completed by August 28, 1997. The Defense
Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the
contracting activity (SP0200-96-D-7125).
ARMY
Textron Systems Division, Wilmington, Massachusetts, is
being awarded a $15,161,425 fixed price incentive contract for
initial production for Wide Area Munition (WAM). Specific line
items are 97 XM93 WAM each at $119,190, 180 XM98 WAM Individual
Training Devices each at $10,007, One lot of Surveillance Units
at $100,807, One lot Production Qualification Test at $1,347,865,
1 Job Warranty (Firm-Fixed-Price) at $300,000 and Data that is
not separately priced. This current action involves award of a
Fixed-Price Incentive contract and a Firm-Fixed Price Warranty.
Work will be performed in Wilmington, Massachusetts, and is
expected to be completed by July 31, 1998. Contract funds will
not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole
source contract initiated on November 20, 1995. The contracting
activity is the U. S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command,
Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey (DAAE30-96-C-0015).
Textron Systems Division, Wilmington, Massachusetts, is
being awarded a $2,000,000 increment as part of a $55,234,838
cost plus incentive contract for a product improvement program
effort for the engineering, manufacturing and development of the
XM93 Wide Area Munition (WAM). Work will be performed by Textron
Systems Division in Wilmington, Massachusetts - 70% and Harris
Corporation, Melbourne, Florida - 30%, and is expected to be
completed by June 20, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at
the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source
contract initiated on January 4, 1996. The contracting activity
is the U. S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Picatinny
Arsenal, New Jersey (DAAE30-96-C-0019).
NAVY
International Technology Corporation, Martinez, California,
is being awarded a $3,087,577 modification to previously awarded
contract N62474-93-D-2151 for environmental remedial actions
concerning the removal of a storm drain system at Hunters Point
Annex, San Francisco, California. The basic total contract was
not to exceed $200,000,000. Work will be performed in San
Francisco, California, and is expected to be completed by July
1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 352
proposals solicited and nine offers received. The Engineering
Field Activity West, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, San
Bruno, California, is the contracting activity.
AIR FORCE
Cubic Defense Systems, San Diego, California, is being
awarded an $18,765,314 face value increase to a fixed price
incentive contract for final ground and airborne hardware
components, system integration and testing for the Nellis Air
Combat Training System. Contract is expected to be completed
April 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. Aeronautical Systems Center, Eglin Air
Force Base, Florida, is the contracting activity (F08626-94-C-
0010, P00008).
Northrop Grumman Aerospace Corporation, Lake Charles,
Louisiana, is being awarded a $73,725,000 firm fixed price
contract to provide for the joint Surveillance Target Attack
Radar System (JSTARS) Lot V Advanced Procurement consisting of
inspection and mandatory refurbishment of two government
furnished Boeing 707 aircraft (Craft 9 and 10) and acquisition of
long lead items and components for radar and aircraft
modifications. The work will be performed at Melbourne Systems
Division, Melbourne, Florida. Contract is expected to be
completed November 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the
end of the current fiscal year. There was one firm solicited and
one proposal received. Solicitation began December 1995;
negotiations were complete June 1996. Electronic Systems Center,
Hanscom Air Force Base Massachusetts, is the contracting activity
(F19628-96-C-0021).
OHM Remediation Services Corporation, Findlay, Ohio, is
being awarded a $2,399,874 cost plus award fee contract to
provide for environmental remediation activities at Installation
Restoration Program sites to remedy contaminated site conditions
in accordance with technical and regulatory requirements. The
work will be performed at Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana.
Contract is expected to be completed February 1997. Contract
funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There
were 14 proposals received. Solicitation began April 1996;
negotiations were complete May 1996. Human Systems Center,
Brooks Air Force Base, Texas, is the contracting activity (F41624-
94-D-8106).
General Atomics, San Diego, California, is being awarded an
$8,422,488 cost plus fixed fee contract to provide an Intelligent
Metacomputing Testbed to provide the government with research and
development associated with the computer science of distributed
metacomputing and super computing environments to handle data-
intensive and numerically intensive application of metacomputing
concepts to electronic commerce with federal government
activities. Contract is expected to be completed December 1997.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. There were 16 proposals received Solicitation began May
1995, and negotiation was completed April 1996. Electronic
Systems Center Hanscom Air Force Base Massachusetts, is the
contracting activity (F19628-96-C-0020).
Texas Instruments, McKinney, Texas. Is being awarded a
$23,624,450 firm fixed price contract to provide 502 modification
sets foe the Guided Bomb Unit 24/27, the Paveway III Laser Guided
Bomb Program. The work will be performed at Texas Instruments
Incorporated, Defense Systems & Electronics, Sherman Texas
Contract is expected to be completed December 1998. Contract
funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the
