DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
Wolverine World Wide, Inc., Rockford, Michigan, is being
awarded a $14,358,491 fixed price with economic price adjustment
contract for men's dress oxford shoes. Work is expected to be
completed by January 1998. Funds will not expire at the end of
the fiscal year. The Defense Personnel Support Center,
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity (SP0100-
95-D-1090).
SOPAKCO Inc.**, Mullins, South Carolina, is being awarded a
$8,212,275 firm fixed price contract for Meals Ready-to-Eat.
Work is expected to be completed by March 1997. Funds will not
expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Personnel
Support Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the contracting
activity (SP0300-95-C-Z102).
ARMY
TRW, Incorporated, Systems Integration Group, Government
Information Services Division, Fairfax, Virginia, was awarded on
July 2, 1996, a $100,000 increment as part of a $51,436,346 cost
plus fixed fee/term (level of effort) contract for engineering
and technical analysis support for the office of the Director,
Test, Systems, Engineering and Evaluation. Work will be
performed in Arlington, Virginia, and is expected to be completed
by July 14, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of
the current fiscal year. There were 104 bids solicited on
November 17, 1995, and six bids received. The contracting
activity is the Defense Evaluation Support Activity, Kirtland Air
Force Base, New Mexico (SEA993-96-C-0008).
Olin Ordnance, St. Petersburg, Florida, is being awarded a
$5,411,246 modification to a firm fixed price contract for 120mm
tank ammunition rounds; 3,065 M831A1 and 6,657 M865 for the M1A1
Abrams tank. Work will be performed at the Iowa Army Ammunition
Plant, Middletown, Iowa, and is expected to be completed by
September 30, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of
the current fiscal year. There were two bids solicited on June
30, 1994, and two bids received. The contracting activity is the
U.S. Army Armament, Munitions & Chemical Command, Rock Island,
Illinois (DAAA09-95-C-0036).
United Defense, L.P., Ground Systems Division, York,
Pennsylvania, is being awarded a $38,637,456 firm fixed price
contract for 48 Field Artillery Ammunition Support Vehicles
(FAASV's). Work will be performed in York, Pennsylvania, and is
expected to be completed by October 30, 1998. Contract funds
will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a
sole source contract initiated on April 5, 1996. The contracting
activity is the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command,
Warren, Michigan (DAAE07-96-C-X175).
Steinhoff & Sadler, Incorporated*, Carlsbad, California, is
being awarded a firm fixed price contract (appropriation number
and dollar value will be issued with each option year) with a
cumulative total of $34,081,561 (basic and 4 option years) for
the operation and maintenance of post and housing facilities at
Fort Huachuca, Arizona, with a completion date of September 30,
2001. There were 51 bids solicited on August 23, 1995, and 11
bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army
Training & Doctrine Command, Fort Huachuca, Arizona (DABT63-96-C-
0024).
O'Gara-Hess & Eisenhardt Armoring Company*, Fairfield, Ohio,
is being awarded a $6,948,101 modification to a firm fixed price
contract for the armoring of 180 High Mobility Multi-Wheeled
Vehicles (HMMWV) M1097, for deployment to Bosnia. Kits are built
and retrofit installed on existing vehicles. Work will be
performed in Fairfield, Ohio (96%) and Germersheim, Germany (4%),
and is expected to be completed by July 19, 1996. Of the total
contract funds, $4,616,000 will expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on
December 8, 1995. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-
Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Michigan (DAAE07-96-C-
X081).
Oshkosh Truck Corporation, Oshkosh, Wisconsin, is being
awarded a $47,057,217 modification to a firm fixed price contract
for 206 Heavy Equipment Mobile Transport Trucks (HEMTT) and 34
Logistics Vehicle Systems (LVS). Work will be performed in
Oshkosh**, Wisconsin, and is expected to be completed by December
31, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on
January 6, 1996. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-
Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Michigan (DAAE07-95-C-
X057).
AIR FORCE
3D/International, Incorporated, Houston, Texas, is being
awarded a $10,170,189 firm fixed price contract to provide for
inspection services and management assistance at 68 Department of
Defense commisary construction projects. Contract is expected to
be completed September 1999. Contract funds will not expire at
the end of the current fiscal year. There were 19 proposals
received. Solicitation began November 1995 and negotiations were
complete March 1996. Air Education and Training Command,

J. A. Jones Management Services, Incorporated, Charlotte,
North Carolina, is being awarded a $41,673,538 firm-fixed-price
award, fee lump, sum indefinite quantity contract for multi-
function facility support services for base operations at the
Naval Submarine Base, Kings Bay, Georgia. This contract contains
options which, if exercised, will bring the cumulative value of
the contract to $209,314,685. Work will be performed in Kings
Bay, Georgia, and is expected to be completed by July 2001.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. This contract was competitively procured with 221 proposals
and three offers received. The Naval Submarine Base, Kings Bay,

Brown and Root Services Corporation, Houston, Texas, is
being awarded a $10,237,298 firm-fixed-price, indefinite quantity
contract to provide managerial, engineering, administrative and
direct labor personnel, materials, and equipment necessary to
perform base operation support at the Naval Air Facility, El
Centro, California, and Camp Billy Mechan, Niland, California.
This contract contains options which, if exercised, will bring
the cumulative value of the contract to $51,152,956. Work will
be performed in El Centro, California, and is expected to be
completed in July 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the
end of the current fiscal year.

Manufacturing Technology Incorporated, Fort Walton Beach,
Florida, is being awarded
a $6,175,955 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, cost-plus-
fixed-fee pricing contract to provide overhaul and repair of
shipboard electronics equipment. This contract contains options
which, if exercised, will bring the cumulative value of the
contract to $25,391,747. Work will
be performed in San Diego, California, and is expected to be
completed in July 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the
end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively
procured with 79 proposals solicited and eight offers received.
