DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
E A Industries, Inc.**, San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, was
awarded on July 10, 1996, a $6,687,429 firm fixed price
indefinite quantity contract for Type I BDU coats. Fifty five
proposals were solicited and five were received. Work is
expected to be completed by November 1997. Funds will not expire
at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Personnel Support
Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is the contracting activity
(SP0100-95-D-0355).
AIR FORCE
McDonnell Douglas Corporation, Long Beach, California, is
being awarded an $8,000,000 face value increase to a firm fixed
price contract to convert the C-17 aircraft Lot VII production
line items from Fixed Price Incentive Firm contract type to Firm
Fixed Price. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-
Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio,is the contracting activity

ARMY
General Dynamics Land Systems Incorporated, Sterling
Heights, Michigan, was awarded on July 10, 1996, a $15,000,000
modification for a first-year call-up of a multi-year letter
contract definitized as a firm fixed price multi-year contract
for 100 upgraded M1A2 Tanks, 1 ballistic turret and spares and 2
armor test sets, against a projected maximum dollar value of
$1,497,805,000, for 580 M1A2 tanks over a 5-year period. Work
will be performed in Lima, Ohio (80%), Tallahassee, Florida
(11%), Anniston, Alabama (4%), Muskegon, Michigan (3%), Sterling
Heights, Michigan (1%), Warren, Michigan (1%), and is expected to
be completed by October 31, 2001. Contract funds will not expire
at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source
contract initiated on June 30, 1995. The contracting activity is
the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren,
Michigan (DAAE07-95-C-0292).
P. J. Dick, Incorporated, West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, was
awarded on July 10, 1996, $32,784,737 as part of a $66,536,000
firm fixed price contract for construction of a 600,000 sf
operations facility and a 12,000 sf central plant for the Defense
Finance and Accounting Service, Defense Construction Supply
Center. Work will be performed in Columbus, Ohio, and is
expected to be completed by March 9, 1999. Contract funds will
not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 214
bids solicited on March 28, 1996, and four bids received. The
contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers,
Louisville, Kentucky (DACA27-96-C-0088).
Emerson Construction Company, Incorporated, Temple, Texas,
is being awarded a firm fixed price construction/requirements
type contract (appropriation number and dollar value will be
issued with each delivery order), with an estimated cumulative
total of $10,007,385 to furnish all labor, equipment and
materials for miscellaneous roads, grounds, site repairs and
improvements. Work will be performed at Fort Hood**, Texas, and
is expected to be completed by September 28, 1997. There were 26
bids solicited on May 22, 1996, and four bids were received. The
contracting activity is the Directorate of Contracting, Fort
Hood, Texas (DAKF48-96-D-0015).
