NAVY
Integrated Performance Decisions, Incorporated, North
Stonington, Connecticut, is
being awarded a $14,595,500 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for
research and development in
the area of marine meteorology. Work will be performed in North
Stonington, Connecticut
(83%), Reston, Virginia (7%), Denton, Texas (5%), and Needham
Heights, Massachusetts
(5%), and is expected to be completed by July 2000. Contract
funds in the amount of $122,000 will expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured
in response to a broad agency announcement. The Naval Research
Laboratory, Stennis Space Center, Mississippi, is the contracting
activity (N00014-96-C-6016).
Lockheed Martin, Government Electronic Systems, Moorestown,
New Jersey, is being awarded a $9,999,000 modification to
previously awarded contract N00024-96-C-5155 for long lead
material and associated planning required for production of one
AEGIS Weapon System MK 7 MOD 11 for DDG 85. Work will be
performed in Moorestown, New Jersey, and is expected to be
completed by June 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the
end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command,
Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity.
EG&G Washington Analytical Service Center, Dahlgren,
Virginia, is being awarded a $6,302,536 indefinite
delivery/indefinite quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for
system safety and engineering support efforts including safety
and security risk assessment tasks and studies
of a wide variety of ordnance and weapon-related systems and
operations. Work will be performed in Dahlgren, Virginia, and is
expected to be completed by July 2001. Contract
funds in the amount of $100,000 will expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured
with 55 proposals solicited and two offers received. The Naval
Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, Virginia, is
the contracting activity

ARMY
Hughes Danbury Optical Systems, Incorporated, Danbury,
Connecticut, is being awarded a three year time and
materials/indefinite delivery/requirements contract
(appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each
delivery order), with an estimated, not-to-exceed total of
$9,900,000, for engineering support and supplies for the AN/AVR-2
family of laser detecting sets, test sets, spare parts and
ancillary items. Work will be performed in Danbury, Connecticut,
and is expected to be completed by July 18, 1999. This is a sole
source contract initiated on May 18, 1996. The contracting
activity is the U.S. Army Communications and Electronics Command,
Fort Monmouth, New Jersey (DAAB07-96-D-D603).
OHM Remediation Services Corporation, Findlay, Ohio, is
being awarded a $2,350,183 increment as part of a not-to-exceed
$50,000,000 (2-year basic plus one option for 3-years) cost
reimbursable, firm fixed price, indefinite delivery type contract
for performing remedial actions at hazardous toxic and
radioactive waste (HTRW) sites. The contract requires contractor
to furnish and transport all plant, labor, materials and
equipment and perform all work necessary to perform remedial
actions at HTRW sites. Work may include, but is not limited to,
site characterization, interim actions, operation and
maintenance, and any other actions related to site remediation at
HTRW sites. Work will be performed at various sites determined
by site-specific delivery orders, with a completion date of July,
2001 (includes basic and options). Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 271
bids solicited on April 6, 1995, and eight bids were received.
The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers,
Omaha, Nebraska (DACA45-96-D-0014).
AM General Corporation, South Bend, Indiana, is being
awarded a $26,538,661 modification to a firm fixed price with
economic price adjustments contract for 440 remanufactured two
and one-half ton cargo trucks for the extended service program
(ESP). Work will be performed in South Bend, Indiana (90%), and
Livonia, Michigan (10%), and is expected to be completed by June
30, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. There were two bids solicited on August 28,
1993, and two bids received. The contracting activity is the
U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Michigan
(DAAE07-93-C-R110).
C3I Systems Group, Incorporated*, Tinton Falls, New Jersey,
is being awarded an increment (appropriation number and dollar
value will be issued with each delivery order) as part of an
estimated not-to-exceed $9,234,834 time and materials contract
for engineering and technical support for the Digitized
Battlefield Program. Work will be performed in Tinton Falls, New
Jersey, and is expected to be completed in February 1998. This
is a sole source contract initiated on April 23, 1996. The
contracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications and
Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, New Jersey (DAAB07-96-D-
B763).
