CONTRACTS
DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
C.L. Bryant*, Modesto, California, is being awarded a
$9,362,419 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract
for diesel fuel no. 2; regular unleaded gasoline; and premium
unleaded gasoline. Two hundred thirty three sealed bids were
solicited and forty four were received. Work will be performed
in Arizona, California, and Nevada and is expected to be
completed by August 31, 1998. Funds will not expire at the end
of the fiscal year. The Defense Fuel Supply Center, Fort
Belvoir, Virginia, is the contracting activity (SP0600-96-D-
4620).
Ultramar, Inc., Long Beach, California, is being awarded a
$7,505,187 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract
for diesel fuel no. 2; midgrade unleaded gasoline; regular
unleaded gasoline; and premium unleaded gasoline. Two hundred
thirty three sealed bids were solicited and forty four were
received. Work will be performed in Arizona, California, and
Nevada and is expected to be completed by August 31, 1998. Funds
will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Fuel
Supply Center, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, is the contracting
activity (SP0600-96-D-4618).
Carter Industries, Inc.*, Brooklyn, New York, is being
awarded a $6,506,901 firm fixed price contract for overalls. One
hundred proposals were solicited and three were received. Work
will be performed in Olive Hill, Kentucky and is expected to be
completed by May 1997. Funds will not expire at the end of the
fiscal year. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity (SP0100-96-C-4037).
AIR FORCE
PRC, Incorporated, McLean, Virginia, is being awarded an
$18,200,000 cost plus award fee contract to provide for software
and engineering support, system development, configuration
management, training and documentation and for the transition of
the United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) Intelligence
Data Handling System (IDHS), Offut Air Force Base, Nebraska, to
an architecture consistent with the Department of Defense
Intelligence Information
System. Contract is expected to be completed July 2001.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. There were 26 firms solicited and one proposal received.
Solicitation began April 1996; negotiations were complete June
1996. Rome Laboratory, Griffiss Air Force Base, New York, is the
contracting activity (F30602-96/C-0030).
DELJEN, Incorporated, Clarksville, Tennessee, is being
awarded a $40,000,000 firm fixed price contract to provide for
the Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineering Requirements
contract for Offut Air Force Base, Nebraska. Contract is
expected to be completed July 2001. Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 107
firms solicited and 19 proposals received. Solicitation began
April 1996; negotiations were complete July 1996. The 55th
Contracting Squadron, Offut Air Force Base, Nebraska, is the
contracting activity (F25600-96/D-0017).
NAVY
ASI Systems International, Orange, California, is being
awarded a $28,277,443 cost-
plus-fixed-fee contract to provide air weapon survivability and
lethality analysis; survivability simulation systems, analyses,
development and support; and data to support the Weapon
Survivability Division in China Lake, California. Work will be
performed in Orange, California (1%); Ridgecrest, California
(38%); San Diego, California (1%); Albuquerque, New Mexico (5%);
Alexandria, Virginia (4%); Herndon, Virginia (1%); Falls Church,
Virginia (2%); Newport Beach, California (2%); Aberdeen, Maryland
(4%); Camarillo, California (2%);
China Lake, California (38%); Arlington, Virginia (1%); and
Huntsville, Alabama (1%), and
is expected to be completed by July 2001. Contract funds would
not have expired at the end
of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively
procured with 63 firms solicited and one offer received. The
Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake,
California,
is the contracting activity (N68936-96-D-0046).
Bath Iron Works Corporation, Bath, Maine, is being awarded a
$104,000,000 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-
96-C-2305 to exercise an option for
advanced procurement planning and materials for the DDG 85 AEGIS
Destroyer. Work will
be performed in Bath, Maine, and is expected to be completed by
July 2001. Contract funds
will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval
Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting
activity.
