AIR FORCE
Greenland Contractors, Copenhagen, Denmark, is being awarded
a $268,000,000 fixed price incentive with award fee contract to
provide for FY 1997-2003 operation and maintenance of Thule Air
Base, Greenland.
The work will be performed at Thule Air Base,
Greenland.
Contract is expected to be completed September 2003.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year.
There were three firms solicited and one proposal
received.
Solicitation began September 1995; negotiations were
completed April 1996.
The 21st Contracting Squadron, Peterson
Air Force Base, Colorado, is the contracting activity (F61101-
96/C-0006).
Cubic Defense Systems, San Diego, California, is being
awarded an $11,331,643 cost plus incentive fee contract to
provide interim contractor support for repair of Surveillance and
Control Data Link Prime Mission Equipment of the Joint
Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (JSTARS) on the E-8C
aircraft.
The work will be performed at Cubic Defense Systems,
San Diego, California (37%), Frontier Engineering, Incorporated,
Stillwater, Oklahoma (45%) and various other locations.
Contract
is expected to be completed February 1999.
Contract funds will
not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
There was one
firm solicited and one proposal received.
Solicitation began
April 1995; negotiations were complete July 1995.
Warner Robins
Air Logistics Center, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, is the
contracting activity (F09603-96/C-0406).
ARMY
Olin Corporation, Winchester Division, Independence,
Missouri, is being awarded a $6,128,416 modification to a cost
plus award fee contract for the operation and maintenance of a
government owned/contractor operated facility.
Work will be
performed at Lake City Army Ammunition Plant, Independence
Missouri, and is expected to be completed by September 30, 1996.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year.
There were 17 bids solicited on October 3, 1984 and 7 bids
received.
The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Armament,
Munitions, and Chemical Command, Rock Island, Illinois (DAAA09-91-
Z-0009).
Maden Tech Consulting, Incorporated*, Arlington, Virginia,
is being awarded a cost plus award fee\small business set-aside
contract with an increment of $4,301,782 (subject to
availability of funds) as part of a projected $17,464,272 (base
plus 3 option years), to provide nonpersonal services in support
of the information management services mission of the Test and
Experimentation Command (TEXCOM), Fort Hood, Texas.
This support
includes network management, programming and analysis support,
database and systems administration, customer support,
audio/visual support, and government furnished property
management.
Work will be performed at Fort Hood, Texas, and is
expected to be completed by September 30, 2000.
