AIR FORCE
Beneco Enterprises, Sandy, Utah, is being awarded a
$35,000,000 indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity construction
contract to provide for the Simplified Acquisition of Base
Engineering Requirements for Randolph Air Force Base, Texas.
This effort involves non-complex minor construction, maintenance,
and repair that require minimal design.
Contract is expected to
be completed August 1997.
Contract funds will not expire at the
end of the current fiscal year.
There were 31 firms solicited;
15 proposals received.
Solicitation began February 1996;
negotiations were July 1996.
Air Education and Training Command,
Randolph Air Force Base, Texas, is the contracting activity
(F41691-96/D-0013).
Lockheed Martin Federal Systems, Incorporated, Owego, N.Y.,
is being awarded a $304,490,950 indefinite delivery/indefinite
quantity contract to provide for total system integration
services and products to modernize, integrate, evolve and
maintain Air Force and Department of Defense Automated
Information Systems.
Contract is expected to be completed August
2011.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year.
There were 204 firms solicited and seven proposals
received.
Solicitation began December 1995; negotiations were
completed July 1996.
Standard Systems Group, Maxwell Air Force
Base, Gunter Annex, Ala., is the contracting activity (F01620-
96/D-0004).
NAVY
McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, St. Louis, Mo., is being
awarded a $67,013,169 firm-fixed-price contract for 75 Stand-Off
Land Attack Missiles.
This contract contains options for 77
Harpoon Missiles which, if exercised, will bring the cumulative
value of the contract to
$139,721,670.
Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo. (76%),
Dallas, Texas (11%)
and Toledo, Ohio (13%), and is expected to be completed by
December 1998.
Contract funds
in the amount of $1,446,594 will expire at the end of the current
fiscal year.
This contract

The Naval Air Systems Command,
Arlington, Va., is
the contracting activity (N00019-96-C-0127).
Lockheed Martin Integrated Systems, Bethesda, Md., is being
awarded an $11,985,802 cost-plus-award-fee contract for
engineering and manufacturing development of the Remote
Minehunting System (RMS) (V) 3 which uses acoustic sensors to
detect, classify and localize mine-like objects and will be
capable of over-the-horizon operations.
Work will be performed
in Syracuse (30%), and Utica (10%) N.Y., and West Palm Beach,
Fla. (60%), and is expected to be completed by September 2001.
This contract includes options which, if exercised, will bring
the cumulative value of this contract to $31,500,000.
Contract
funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
This contact was competitively procured with 130 proposals
solicited and
four offers received.

ARMY
Honeywell Incorporated, Solid State Electronics Center,
Plymouth, Minn., is being awarded a $2,525,000 increment as part
of a $9,327,926 cost plus fixed fee contract with a cumulative
total of $13,012,198 if options are exercised, for the
development and demonstration of a radiation tolerant 4 Mbit
Static Random Access Memory (SRAM).
Work will be performed in
Plymouth, Minn., and is expected to be completed by August 15,
2000.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year.
There were nine bids solicited on March 8, 1995,
and two bids were received.

Olin Ordnance, Marion, Ill., is being awarded a $6,277,921
modification to a firm fixed price contract for 231,480 M910 25mm
cartridges and 235,620 M793 25mm cartridges in support of the
Bradley Fighting Vehicle.
Work will be performed in Marion,
Ill., and is expected to be completed by March 30, 1997.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year.

two bids were received.

Detroit Diesel Corporation, Detroit, Mich., is being awarded
a $5,885,892 firm fixed price and cost plus fixed fee contract
for the remanufacture/upgrade of 463 Light Armor Vehicles (LAV),
6V53T Green Series Model 5063-53 to Silver Series Model 5063-
539P including technical support, and repair/replacement parts,
as necessary.
Work will be performed in Emporia, Kan. (75%), and
Cambridge, Ohio (25%), and is expected to be completed by
December 31, 1998.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of
the current fiscal year.

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY
Kay & Kay Contracting, Incorporated, London, Ky., is being
awarded a $500,000 increment as part of a $10,831,528 firm fixed
price contract for Harlan Phase 3, Floodwall and Closures, in the
Upper Cumberland River Basin, Harlan, Ky.
Work is expected to be
completed by February 28, 1999.
Contract funds will not expire
at the end of the current fiscal year.
There were 69 bids
solicited on January 11, 1996, and four bids were received.
The
contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers,
Nashville, Tenn. (DACW62-96-C-0018).
DoD DEPENDENT SCHOOLS
Wang Federal, Inc. is being awarded a $7,894,879 firm-fixed
price, requirements and cost reimbursement contract to provide
Worldwide Maintenance and Software Support Services for the DoD
Dependents Schools (DoDDS).
The work will be performed at DoDEA
Headquarters in Arlington, Va., and 14 countries worldwide.
The
base year contract is expected to be completed in September
1997.
FY 96 O&M funds in the amount of $300,000 will be
obligated this fiscal year and the amount of $7,594,879 (O&M)
will be subject to the availability of FY 97 funds.
There were
245 firms solicited and five proposals received.
Solicitation
was issued in December 1995; negotiations were completed in June
1996.
