NAVY

Blinderman Construction Company, Incorporated, Deerfield, Illinois, is being awarded a $5,585,000 firm-fixed-price contract for whole building repairs of Bachelor Enlisted Quarters at the Naval Training Center, Great Lakes, Illinois. Work will be performed in Great Lakes, Illinois, and is expected to be completed by August 1997. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was competitively procured with 66 proposals solicited and four offers received. International Bridge Corporation,* GMF, Guam, is being awarded an $8,098,345 firm-fixed-price contract for the design and subsequent revitalization of a maximum of 70 family housing units in the Lockwood Terrace neighborhood, Navy Public Works Center, Guam. Work will be performed in Guam, Marianas Islands, and is expected to be completed by November 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. International Technology Corporation, Martinez, California, is being awarded a $1,287,669 modification to previously awarded contract N62474-93-D-2151 for environmental remedial action providing construction, operation and maintenance of a landfill cap at Moffett Federal Airfield, Mountain View, California. Work will be performed in Mountain View, California, and is expected to be completed by February 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The basic contract was competitively procured with 352 proposals solicited and nine offers received.
