CONTRACTS
ARMY
Park Construction Company, Denver, Colorado, is being
awarded a $5,639,759 firm fixed price contract for a new 0.75
million gallons-per-day wastewater treatment plant facility,
which includes construction (4,696 sf) of a new
Administration/Control Building , Blower Building,
Chlorination/Dechlorination Building, Sequencing Batch Reactors,
Aeorbic Digester, Sludge Drying Beds, and an Irrigating/Effluent
Disposal System.
The project includes paving, site improvements
and supporting utilities on approximately 8 acres.
Work will be
performed at Cannon Air Force Base, Albuquerque**, New Mexico,
and is expected to be completed by November 30, 1997.
Contract
funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
There were 62 bids solicited on July 2, 1996, and 4 bids
received.
The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of
Engineers, Albuquerque, New Mexico (DACA47-96-C-0021).
NAVY
Hughes Space and Communications Company, El Segundo,
California, is being awarded a $13,550,000 modification to
previously awarded contract N00039-88-C-0300 for Global Broadcast
System (GBS) on the last three Ultra High Frequency Follow-on
Satellites, F8, F9, and F10.
Work will be performed in El
Segundo, California, and is expected to be completed by December
1998.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year.
The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command,
Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity.
AIR FORCE
Tracor Aerospace, Incorporated, Austin, Texas, is being
awarded a $20,821,047 firm fixed price contract to provide for
two C-21A aircraft, and associated training and data.
The work
will be performed at Tracor Aerospace, Austin, Texas (20%),
Israeli Aircraft Industries, Ben-Gurion international Airport,
Israel (50%) and various other locations.
Contract is expected
to be completed July 1997.
Contract funds will not expire at the
end of the current fiscal year.
There were 9 firms solicited and 2 proposals received.
Solicitation began March 1996; negotiations were completed July
1996.
Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force
Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-95/C-0082).
Northrop Grumman Corporation, Pico Rivera, California, is
being awarded a $12,963,460 face value increase to a firm fixed
price contract to provide for 78 technical orders in support of
the B-2 aircraft.
Contract is expected to be completed December
1999.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year.
Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air
Force Base, Oklahoma, is the contracting activity (F33657-87/C-
2000, P00734).
Northrop Grumman Corporation, Pico Rivera, California, is
being awarded a $48,692,584 face value increase to a cost plus
award fee contract to provide maintenance and repair capability
for the aircraft.
Contract is expected to be completed December
1998.
