DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
Bergan Brunswig Drug Company, Orange, Calif., is being
awarded a $18,262,659 firm- fixed-price modified requirements
contract for pharmaceuticals under the Prime Vendor
Pharmaceuticals program.
Three hundred nine proposals were
solicited and four were received.
Work will be performed in Glen
Allen, Va., and is expected to be completed by September 30,
1997.
The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pa.,
is the contracting activity (SP0200-94-D-7000).
Booz, Allen & Hamilton, Inc., McLean, Va., is being awarded
a $50,960,809 cost plus fixed fee contract for establishment and
operation of the Department of Defense
survivability/vulnerability information analysis center.
Forty-
one proposals were solicited and
two were received.
Work will be performed in Wright-Patterson
Air Force Base, Ohio.

Columbus, Ohio, is the contracting activity (SP0700-96-D-4000).
Downey, Inc.*, Lake Ridge, Va., is being awarded a
$15,000,000 indefinite quantity contract for distribution and
packaging equipment, materials and supplies.
Thirty-three
proposals were solicited and seven were received.
Work is
expected to be completed by August 29, 1997.

ARMY
Dyncorp Aerospace Technology, Fort Worth, Texas, was awarded
on August 26, 1996, a $2,451,744 increment as part of a
$13,933,056 (base plus 4 options) cost plus award fee contract to
provide for the management, personnel, materials, equipment,
services and transportation required to perform the functional
areas, as laundry operations; full food services; supply
operations; facility engineering services; maintenance, Class I,
equipment pool and transportation
services.
Work will be performed on a military air force base in
Soto Cano, Honduras, and is expected to be completed by September
30, 2001.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year.
There were 14 bids solicited on July 13,
1995, and two bids received.
The contracting activity is the
U.S. Army South, Panama (DAHC92-96-C-0072).
Security Signals, Incorporated*, Cordova, Tenn., was awarded
on August 29, 1996, a $7,140,594 firm-fixed-price contract for
121,834 each Signal M127A1, 34,896 each Signal M125A1, 39,984
each Signal M159, and 460 each Signal M126A1, for use in search
and rescue operations.
Of the total contract amount, $5,000,000
is for the purchase of signals for Bahrain and Israel.
Work will
be performed in Cordova, Tenn., and is expected to be completed
by October 31, 1997.

March 4, 1996, and four bids received.

Hughes Aircraft Company, Electro-Optical Systems, El
Segundo, Calif., is being awarded a $6,301,263 modification to a
firm-fixed-price contract for 404 Operation Desert Storm Bradley
Eyesafe Laser Rangefinder kits and spare parts to support the
Bradley Fighting Vehicle System.
Work will be performed in Los
Angeles, Calif. (40%), Midland, Ontario, Canada (28%), Irving,
Calif. (28%), and Danbury, Conn. (4%), and is expected to be
completed by January 15, 1998.

Actus Corporation/Sundt Corporation, a joint venture, Napa,
Calif., is being awarded an $11,923,259 firm-fixed-price contract
to replace family housing, Phase II.
The project will consist of
replacing 96 housing units, and will include demolition of 102
units, site preparation, replacement/upgrade of utility systems
and roads, and engineering/construction of new single family
housing units.
Provide normal amenities, to include appliances,
parking, air conditioning, garages, patios, privacy fencing,
playgrounds and recreation areas, and remove asbestos and lead
based paint.
Work will be performed at Nellis Air Force Base,
Nev., and is expected to be completed by September 30, 1997.

There were 60 bids solicited on February 21, 1996, and two
bids were received.

ITT Corporation, Aerospace/Communications Division, Ft.
Wayne, Ind., is being awarded a $3,220,000 increment as part of
an $11,396,418 cost plus fixed fee contract for enhanced Single
Channel Ground and Airborne Radio System (SINCGARS) Packet Data
II Engineering Development, and SINCGARS System Improvement
Program (SIP), Based Combat Identification System Demonstration.
Work will be performed in Clifton, N.J. (80%), and Ft. Wayne,
Ind. (20%), and is expected to be completed by September 30,
1997.

This is a sole source contract initiated on April
16, 1996.

NAVY
Electric Boat Corporation, Groton, Conn., is being awarded a
$18,621,646 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-95-
C-2101 for OMNIBUS engineering and technical services for new
construction and operational OHIO Class submarines.
Work will be
performed in Groton, Conn., and is expected to be completed by
September 1997.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year.
The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington,
Va., is the contracting activity.
Phillips National, Incorporation,* Solana Beach, Calif., is
being awarded a $7,353,766 firm-fixed-price contract for
wholehouse repair and revitalization of 104 duplex housing units
at Silver Strand family housing area and 10 single family housing
units at Naval Air Station, North Island, Coronado, Calif.
Work
will be performed in Coronado, Calif. (90%), and San Diego,
Calif. (10%), and is expected to be completed by July 1998.

AIR FORCE
Rockwell International Corporation, Anaheim, Calif., is
being awarded a $10,184,487 face value increase to a cost plus
award fee contract to provide for 713 man months of continuous
sustaining technical services for the guidance and control
systems and associated ground and test support equipment in
support of the Minuteman and Peacekeeper Intercontinental
Ballistic Missiles.
The work will be performed at Rockwell
International Corporation, Anaheim, Calif. (30%), Rockwell
International Autonetics Electronic Systems Division, Hill AFB,
Utah (47%), as well as various other sites.
Contract is expected

Ogden Air Logistics

provide for 66 Signal Data Receiver Reproducers, 100 Voice and
Data Recorders, and 66 A-Kits (wiring, clamps) applicable to the
Navy VH-3, VH-60, C-2 and C-130T aircraft.

contract to provide for one Improved Avionics Intermediated Shop

to incorporate upgrades to the Automatic Flight Control System,
the Control Display Systems, and the Ground collision Avoidance
System into the design, development, integration and test effort
for the NAVSTAR/Global Positioning System applicable to the C-141
aircraft.
The work will be performed at Chrysler Technologies,

price contract to provide for commercial space launch services,

being awarded a $100,182,502 cost plus award fee contract to
provide for FY1997 range technical services for operation and
