CONTRACTS

ARMY

Precision Echo, Incorporated*, Santa Clara, California, is being awarded a$3,400,000,(if all options exercised estimate is $8,600,000) firm fixed price contract to provide color airborne video tape recorder (CAVTR) system kits and ground playback stations for the A/OA-10A fleet. The CAVTR shall comprise a variety of commercial off the shelf (COTS) equipment that provides the capability, when assembled into a ruggedized integrated system to record and play the A/OA-1A Heads-up Display (HUD), Maverick Missile (AGM-65) Television Display, and audio from the pilot's headset. Work will be performed in Santa Clara, California, and is expected to be completed by September 30, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 34 bids solicited on September 26, 1995, and 2 bids received. The contracting activity is the National Guard Bureau, Falls Church, Virginia (DAHA90-96-C-0012).

Stewart and Stevenson Services, Incorporated, Sealy, Texas, is being awarded a $11,350,490 of $15,991,934 ceiling price modification to a fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for 99 Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles (FMTV) to meet foreign military sales requirement. Work will be performed in Sealy, Texas, and is expected to be completed by December 31, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 3 bids solicited on September 20, 1990, and 3 bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank Automotive and Armament Command, Warren, Michigan (DAAE07-92- C-R001).

AIR FORCE

Boeing Defense and Space Group, Wichita, Kansas, is being awarded a $42,500,000 firm fixed price contract to provide for four Re-engine Modification Hardware Kits (less engines) applicable to the KC-135 aircraft and two Re-engine Modification Hardware Kits (less engines) applicable to the RC-135 aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed December 1996.

Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. Solicitation began July 1996; negotiations were completed August 1996. Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, is the contracting activity (F42600-94/G-7559 SD-6S).

Allied-Signal, Incorporated, Teterboro, New Jersey, is being awarded a $12,000,000 cost plus fixed fee contract to provide for engineering services in support of the Avionics Intermediate Shop for the F-15 aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed September 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. Solicitation began July 1996; negotiations were completed August 1996. San Antonio Air Logistics Center, Kelly Air Force Base, Texas, is the contracting activity (F41608- 96/D-1009).

Boeing Defense and Space Group, Wichita, Kansas, is being awarded a $7,366,000 cost plus fixed fee contract to provide for development of a Direct Attack Stores Management Overlay to facilitate integration of the wind Corrected Munitions Dispenser and the Joint Direct Attack Missile into the B-52H weapon system. Contract is expected to be completed February 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were five firms solicited and one proposal received. Solicitation began July 1996; negotiations were completed August 1996. Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, is the contracting activity (F34601-96/C-0562).

Boeing Defense and Space Group, Kent, Washington, is being awarded a $5,500,000 face value increase to a firm fixed price contract to provide for Desert Shield/Storm related evacuation expenses for contractor and subcontractor personnel and dependents providing maintenance and operational support for the E-3 aircraft. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This effort supports foreign military sales to Saudi Arabia. Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, is the contracting activity (F34601-89/C- 1805, P00039).
