CONTRACTS
DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
Apex Oil Company, St. Louis, Missouri, is being awarded a
$7,636,994 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract
for burner oil no. 4 and burner oil no. 6. Three hundred sixty
seven sealed bids were solicited and sixty four were received.
Work will be performed in various locations throughout the mid-
Atlantic and is expected to be completed by August 30, 1999. The
Defense Fuel Supply Center, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, is the
contract activity (SP0600-96-D-4067).
ARMY
Logicon RDA, Los Angeles, California, is being awarded a
delivery order amount of $6,347,705 as part of a $25,901,490
requirements with cost plus award fee features contract for
technical support services for battle simulation centers. Work
will be performed at various sites in Europe and is expected to
be completed by September 30, 2000. Of the total contract funds,
$6,347,705 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
There were 55 bids solicited on April 24, 1996, and two bids were
received. The contracting activity is the Wiesbaden Regional
Contracting Office, Wiesbaden, Germany (DAJA22-96-D-0069).
Site Development, Incorporated*, Troy, Michigan, is being
awarded an $11,630,521 firm fixed price contract for utilities
and street repairs in housing areas, including sanitary, water,
storm sewers, natural gas, paving and electric. Work will be
performed at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Michigan, and is
expected to be completed by September 30, 1998. Contract funds
will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There
were 49 bids solicited on August 6, 1996, and five bids received.
The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers,
Louisville, Kentucky (DACA27-96-C-0104).
NAVY
Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, Cambridge, Massachusetts,
is being awarded a $5,585,700 modification to previously awarded
contract N00030-96-C-0014 to exercise an option to increase the
level of effort under the annual procurement for Technical
Engineering Support of Polaris (United Kingdom), TRIDENT I
(United States) and TRIDENT II (United States and United Kingdom)
Guidance Systems. Work will be performed in Cambridge,
Massachusetts, and is expected to be completed by September 1996.
Contract funds would
have expired at the end of the current fiscal year. This
contract was not competitively procured. The Navy's Strategic
Systems Program, Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting
activity.
The Endmark Corporation,* Arlington, Virginia, is being
awarded a $6,690,800 indefinite quantity, time, and material
contract for contractor support services for engineering and
logistics support for the Navy Target and Decoy System Program
Office, Washington, DC. Work will be performed in Arlington,
Virginia (20%), and Patuxent River, Maryland (80%),
and is expected to be completed by September 2001. Contract
funds will not expire at the end
of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively
procured by Small Business Set-Aside Competition via the Internet
with five offers received. The Naval Air Systems Command,
Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity (N00019-96-D-
0221).
Hughes Aircraft Company, Naval and Maritime Systems, San
Diego, California, is being awarded a letter contract in the
amount of $12,842,899 for the production and deployment of the
Ship Self Defense System (SSDS) MK 1 for LSD 41/49 Class ships.
Work will be performed in San Diego, California, and is expected
to be completed by July 1997. Contract funds will not expire at
the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not
competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command,
Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity
(N00024-96-C-5453).
