AIR FORCE
TRW, Incorporated, Redondo Beach, California, is being
awarded a $91,177,837 face value increase to a cost plus award
fee contract to provide for FY 1997 continuous engineering
services and technical assistance in support of the Minuteman and
Peacekeeper missile systems. Contract is expected to be
completed September 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the

Lockheed Martin Ordnance Systems, Incorporated, Burlington,
Vermont, was awarded on September 17, 1996 a $7,015,210
modification to a firm fixed price supply contract to implement
mandatory technical improvements to ensure reliability and safety
of M933 and M934 120mm mortar cartridges. Work will be performed
at Milan Army Ammunition Plant, Milan, Tennessee, and is expected
to be completed by December 29, 1997. Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole
source contract solicited on August 19, 1993. The contracting
activity is the U.S. Army Armament, Munitions and Chemical

D&K Construction Company Incorporated*, Springfield, New
Jersey, is being awarded a $9,494,800 firm fixed price
construction contract for life safety/utility upgrades at Dover
Air Force Base Hospital. Work will be performed at Dover Air
Force Base, Delaware, and is expected to be completed by March
21, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. There were 32 bids solicited on July 8,

Ranco Construction Incorporated*, Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, is
being awarded a $6,149,220 (includes 7 options) firm fixed price
contract for 184 family housing units: construction services are
required for a new L shaped, three story structure approximately
38,300 square foot with reinforced concrete foundation, floor
slabs, masonry walls and standing metal roof. The dormitory is a
single occupancy, room-bathroom quad modules with shared
kitchenettes. Project includes laundries, storage, lounge areas,
automatic fire protection, site improvements, landscaping,
outdoor pavilion, parking lot, all utility support and
demolition. Work will be performed at McGuire Air Force Base,
Wrightstown, New Jersey, and is expected to be completed by
November 18, 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of
the current fiscal year. There were 104 bids solicited on August
1, 1996 and 15 bids received. The contracting activity is the

NAVY
Waterjet Systems Incorporated, Huntsville, Alabama, is being
awarded a $6,510,868 firm-fixed-price supply contract for
purchase of equipment that uses ultra high-pressured water to
remove paint from ships. This contract contains options which,
if exercised, will bring the estimated value of the contract to
$9,999,980. Work will be performed in Huntsville, Alabama, and
is expected to be completed by September 1997. Contract funds
will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract

Telecommunications Services Company, Incorporated,* Capitol
Heights, Maryland, is being awarded a $5,151,072 indefinite
delivery, indefinite quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to
provide engineering, integration, installation and life cycle
support services for various electronic systems utilized by the
Navy, Department of Defense, and other government agencies.
Services will be for the following tactical cryptologic systems:
Signal Acquisition Systems, and Direction Finding (DF) Systems.
This contract includes options which, if exercised, will bring
the cumulative value of this contract to $26,139,070. Work will
be performed in Charleston, South Carolina (70%), Washington,
D.C. (5%), Norfolk, Virginia (10%), San Diego, California (5%),
and Pearl Harbor, Hawaii (10%), and is expected to be completed
by September 1997. Contract funds in the amount of $40,000 will
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was
an 8(a), sole-source set-aside to small business in conjunction
with the Small Business Administration (SBA), Washington, D.C.

construction of a Fuel Tankage Defense Fuel Support Point at
