Lockheed Martin Defense Systems, Pittsfield, Massachusetts,
is being awarded a $16,680,308 firm fixed price contract for 540
- 3 modification kits (transmission) for the Bradley Fighting
Vehicle System. Work will be performed in Pittsfield,
Massachusetts, and is expected to be completed by December 31,
1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current

Stone & Webster Engineering Corporation, Englewood,
Colorado, is being awarded an $8,426,366 cost reimbursable
contract to perform interim remedial action at landfills number 6
and 7. Work will be performed at Fort Sheridan, Illinois, and is

USA Asbestos Removal Company, Incorporated*, Clifton, New
Jersey, is being awarded $98,000 of a $14,700,000 (includes 2
option years) indefinite delivery type/firm fixed price contract
for the demolition of buildings. Work will be performed in and
around Fort Hood, Killeen, Texas, and is expected to be completed
by September 26, 1999. Contract funds will not

Templeton Construction Company*, San Angelo, Texas, is being
awarded a $6,006,373 increment as part of a $6,153,273 (base plus
17 options) firm fixed price contract for renovation of ADAL
dormitory buildings 6125 and 6136. The project involves the
complete interior renovation of 2 three-story, 25,000 square foot
dormitories to comply with the new Air Force 1+1 standard. These
structures will house approximately 144 personnel in 72 suites.
Each suite will include 2 bedrooms, kitchen, and bathroom. The
existing buildings have concrete foundations and structural
masonry walls, with exterior brick finish. Site amenities
include basketball and volleyball courts. Hazardous materials
abatement of asbestos, lead-based paint, mercury, PCB and CFC is
required. New balconies will be required for both buildings.
Work will be performed at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, and is
expected to be completed by June 30, 1997. Contract funds will

Trimble Navigation Limited, Austin, Texas, is being awarded
$12,881,764 of an estimated cumulative total $13,361,764 firm
fixed price and time and materials contract for 785 Global
Positioning Systems (GPS). The Cargo Utility GPS Receiver (CUGR)
is a self contained, lightweight standalone GPS receiver for the
Army UH-1 helicopter fleet. This acquisition meets the
Congressional mandate to equip all aircraft (UH-1) with GPS
capability by the year 2000. Work will be performed in Austin,
Texas, and is expected to be completed by April 30, 1998.

Science Applications International Corporation, TSC, Pacific
Technology Services, San Diego, California, is being awarded a
$5,051,991 increment as part of a $12,072,817 cost plus fixed fee
contract for technology support services. Work will be performed
in Frederick, Maryland (98%), McLean, Virginia (1%), and San
Diego, California (1%), and is expected to be completed by
September 26, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of

Fenn Manufacturing Company, Newington, Connecticut, is being
awarded a $10,556,480 firm fixed price contract for 1,760 housing
assemblies, part of the main rotor head on the Apache helicopter.
Work will be performed in Newington, Connecticut, and is expected
to be completed by May 31, 1998. Contract funds will not expire
at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a

ECI Construction, Incorported*, Shawnee Mission, Kansas, is
being awarded a $5,221,432 firm fixed price contract for
construction of a three-story, 145,300 square foot - 48 person
barracks and adjacent 13,800 square foot single-story and
basement, Soldier Community Building. Foundations will be pier
and grade beam with structurally supported slabs. Roofs will be
composition shingle with an option for standing seam metal.
Heating and air conditioning will utilize a central chiller and
boiler with a 4-pipe system. Variable air volume will be used in
the community building and individual fan coil units will be used
in the barracks. The barracks include living/sleeping rooms,
private bath, walk-in closets, built-in desks and shelving, and
service areas. An intrusion detection system is required.
Supporting facilities include electric service, fire protection
and alarm systems, paving, walks, curbs and gutters, parking and
access roads, storm drainage, and landscaping. Work will be
performed at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, and is expected to be completed
by December 31, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end
of the current fiscal year. There were 39 bids solicited on
August 13, 1996, and four bids received. The contracting

LOGIS-TECH, Incorporated*, Alexandria, Virginia, is being
awarded a first task-order amount of $8,016, 143, which is part
of a $200,000,000 (if all options exercised) firm fixed price
contract to furnish all plant labor, equipment, materials and
incidental construction necessary to provide turn-key Controlled
Humidity Preservation and Operational Preservation Programs to
include a total package fielding hand-off at various locations
throughout the United States and its territories. Work will be
performed in Tennessee, Maryland, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Oregon,
Iowa, Michigan, Mississippi, New York, and Guam, and is expected
to be completed by September 30, 1998. Contract funds will not

J & J Maintenance, Incorporated, Austin, Texas, is being
awarded an estimated $2,522,441 increment as part of an estimated
$7,542,699 cost plus award fee contract to furnish all

materials to perform base operations support services; and
construction jobs (not to exceed $25,000 range on each job).

Lockheed Martin Ordnance Systems, Incorporated, Burlington,

improvements to ensure reliability and safety of M933 and M934
120mm mortar cartridges. A price reduction incorporated due to
waiver of First Article Test. Work will be performed at the

Lockheed Martin Vought Systems Corporation, Grand Prairie,
Texas, is being awarded a $31,741,252 modification to a firm
fixed price contract to add additional funding to previous
exercise of FY96 low rate initial production (LRIP) as an
unpriced contractual action, quantity of 70 Army Tactical Missile
System Block 1A guided missiles and launching assemblies and
warranty; and 72 Block 1 Missile Variants in support of foreign
military sales requirement. Work will be performed in Dallas,

construction of enlisted barracks without dining facility. The
project consists of one three-story barracks building clustered
on two sides of a three-story Soldier Community Building. Work
will be performed at Fort Eustis, Virginia, and is expected to be

giving the government the opportunity over the next five years to
purchase a maximum of 160 self-propelled vibratory rollers Type
I, and 487 self-propelled vibratory rollers Type II. Work will
be performed in Kewanee, Illinois, and is expected to be

The SIF/CTB is a land-based test site for testing and evaluating
performance of the initial Joint Tactical Information
Distribution System (JTIDS). This contract includes options
which, if exercised, would bring

OHM Remediation Services Corporation, Aiea, Hawaii, is being
