ARMY
Dayton T. Brown, Bohemia Long Island, New York, was awarded
on September 30, 1996, a $250,000 increment as part of an
estimated $6,552,898 cost plus fixed fee contract for logistics
for research and development for the Defense Advanced Research
Projects Agency/Defense Logistics Agency, entitled The Center
for Alternate Sources of Parts (CASP). Work will be performed
in Bohemia, Long Island, New York, and is expected to be
completed by September 30, 2000. Contract funds will not expire
at the end of the current fiscal year. There was a broad agency
announcement on March 23, 1995, and 102 bids were received. The
contracting activity is the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine
Command, Fort Huachuca, Arizona (DABT63-96-C-0092).
AIR FORCE
Logicon Research and Development Associates, Los Angeles,
California, is being awarded a $5,435,503 cost plus fixed fee and
cost contract to provide for update of the Operational Targeting
Program software on the Minuteman III missile system to reflect
modifications made by the Propulsion Replacement Program.
Contract is expected to be completed April 2000. Contract funds
will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was
one firm solicited and one proposal received. Solicitation began
April 1996; negotiations were completed September 1996. Ogden
Air Logistics Center, Hill AFB, Utah, is the contracting activity

Lockheed Technical Operations Company, Sunnyvale,
California, is being awarded a $23,959,699 face value increase to
a cost plus award fee contract to provide for FY 1997 operational
support for a range of space, missile, and ground systems, as
well as associated readiness, launch, training and planning
activities. Lockheed will perform this effort at Onizuka Air
Force Base, California (80%) and other locations. Contract is
expected to be completed September 1997. Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The 50th Space
Wing, Falcon Air Force Base, Colorado, is the contracting
activity (FA2550-93/C-0004, P000060).
Lockheed Aeromod Centers, Greenville, South Carolina, is
being awarded a $86,816,648 face value increase to a firm fixed
price contract to provide for FY 1997 contractor logistics
support for the KC-10 aircraft and the KDC-10 Remote Aerial
Fueling System. The work will be performed at Lockheed Aeromod
Centers, Incorporated, Greenville, South Carolina (38%), Raytheon
Aerospace Company, Greenville, Texas (40%) and various other
locations Contract is expected to be completed September 1997.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker AFB, Oklahoma,
is the contracting activity (F34601-93/C-0989, P00067).
Lockheed Martin Services, Cherry Hill, New Jersey, is being
awarded a $27,471,966 face value increase to a cost plus
incentive fee contract to provide for FY 1997 operation,
maintenance, logistics and training support for 7 remote tracking
stations, two control nodes, and 4 global positioning sites in
support of the Air Force Satellite Control Network. The work
will be performed by Lockheed Martin Services, Inc., at Onizuka
Air Station, California (49%) and ten other locations worldwide.
Contract is expected to be completed September 1997. Contract
funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The
50th Space Wing, Falcon AFB, Colorado, is the contracting

Aerojet General Corporation, Azusa, California, is being
awarded a $8,448,161 face value increase to a cost plus award fee
contract to provide for FY 1997 contractor logistics support for
computer facilities, including ground software development and
maintenance operations in support for computer facilities,
including ground software development and maintenance operations
in support of the Shield/Attack and Launch Early Reporting to
Theater (ALERT) systems. Contract is expected to be completed
September 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. Space and Missile Systems Center, Los

ITT Federal Services Corporation, Colorado Springs,
Colorado, is being awarded a $5,878,505 face value increase to a
firm fixed price contract to provide for FY 1997 operation,
maintenance and support of the Caribbean Basin Radar Network.
ITT Federal Services will perform this effort in Colorado
Springs, Colorado (36%) and at seven locations in Florida (1),
Panama (1), Venezuela (3) and Colombia (2). Contract is expected
to be completed September 1999. Contract funds will not expire
at the end of the current fiscal year. Air Combat Command,

ITT Federal Services Corporation, Colorado Springs,
Colorado, is being awarded a $5,087,687 face value increase to a
fixed price incentive contract to provide for FY 1997 operation,
maintenance of the Perimeter Acquisition Radar Attack
Characterization System (PARCS) at Cavalier Air Station, North
Dakota. The work will be performed at Cavalier Air Station,
North Dakota. Contract is expected to be completed September
1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current

ITT Federal Services Corporation, Colorado Springs,
Colorado, is being awarded a $21,874,870 face value increase to a
fixed price incentive contract to provide for FY 1997 operation
and maintenance of Ballistic Missile Early Warning System (BMEWS)
Site II, Clear Air Station, Alaska. The work will be performed
by ITT Federal Services at Clear Air Station, Alaska. Contract
is expected to be completed September 1997. Contract funds will
not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The 21st Space

Raytheon Service Company, Burlington, Massachusetts, is
being awarded a $13,148,589 face value increase to a fixed price
incentive contract to provide for FY 1997 management, operation,
maintenance and logistical support of the AN/FPS-123(v) 1/2/3/4
Solid State Phased Array Radars. The work will be performed at
Cape Cod Air Station, Massachusetts (26%), Thule Air Base,
Greenland (32%) and other operational locations worldwide.

Rockwell International Corporation, Seal Beach, California,
is being awarded a $15,851,188 face value increase to a cost plus
award fee contract to provide for FY 1997 interim contractor
support repair services for the B-1B aircraft. Contract is
expected to be completed September 1997. Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Oklahoma City Air

MITRE Corporation, Bedford, Massachusetts, is being awarded
a $427,500,000 face value increase to a cost plus award fee
contract to provide for FY 1997-1998 systems engineering and
integration support for Air Force and Foreign Military Programs.
Contract is expected to be completed September 1998. Contract
funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
Approximately 2% of this effort supports foreign military sales
to Saudi Arabia, France, Japan, and the Untied Kingdom.
Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom AFB, Massachusetts is the

The Aerospace Corporation, El Segundo, California, is being
awarded a $323,886,000 face value increase to a cost plus award
fee contract to provide for 1805 members of technical staff for
scientific engineering and technical effort in support of the Air
Force and other Government agencies during FY1997. Contract is
expected to be completed December 1996. Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Space and Missile

NAVY
GEC-Marconi Systems, (a joint venture) Wayne, New Jersey, was
awarded a $3,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract for qualification
and test articles of the Multifunctional Information Distribution
System (MIDS) Fighter Data Link (FDL) terminals. The MIDS FDL
terminals will provide a secure jam resistant, digital data link
system for the United States Air Force F-15 fighter aircraft.
The procurement includes terminal qualification testing, and
options for pilot and rate production, warranties, and contractor
logistics support. This contract contains options which, if
exercised, will bring the cumulative value of the contract to
approximately $122,000,000. Work will be performed in Wayne,
New Jersey (50%), and Cedar Rapids, Iowa (50%), and is expected
to be completed by January 1998. Contract funds will not expire
at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was
competitively procured by a request for proposals on the Space
and Naval Warfare Systems Command Bulletin Board and two offers
were received. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command,

DEFENSE INFORMATION SYSTEMS AGENCY
Sprint, Government Systems Division, Herndon, Virginia is
being awarded a $14,481,717.80 firm fixed price contract for
leased commercial communication services from Andrews AFB, Md. to
Germany and the United Kingdom. Services under this contract
support the Defense Switched Network to satisfy requirements of
the Military Departments, C3I, and the CINCs. The award is on a
competitive basis and was released under the Defense Information
Systems Agency Acquisition Bulletin Board with seven offers
received. $5,099,820.35 will be initially obligated for the base
period of five years with a five year option. The Defense
