ARMY
Gardner Zemke Company, Albuquerque, New Mexico, is being
awarded a $8,392,072 firm fixed price contract to remove two of
the existing six 1500KW diesel generators and replace them with
two new 4MW gas turbine generators. The work will included
demolition and repair, structural work, controls, piping,
electrical work, roof repair resulting from construction,
lighting protection and putting the new equipment into operation.
The contract includes an option for a 5 year extended service
agreement. Work will be performed at Lackland Air Force Base,
San Antonio, Texas, and is expected to be completed by September
4, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. There was a broad agency announcement in
the Commerce Business Daily on June 6, 1996, and 6 bids were
received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Corps of
Engineers, Fort Worth, Texas (DACA63-96-C-0066).
CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY
Sevenson Environmental Services, Incorporated, Niagara
Falls, New York, is being awarded a $7,557,318 construction firm
fixed price contract for removal and disposal of approximately
70,000 cubic yards to 240,000 cubic yards of sediment from an
area of about 30 acres. The material must be dewatered by
mechanical equipment, and the solids processed will be processed
will be disposed of in the contractor's disposal area. Work will
be performed in Washington, District of Columbia, and is expected
to be completed by August 30, 1996. Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 36 bids
solicited on June 20, 1996, and 8 bids received. The contracting
activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore, Maryland
(DACW31-97-C-0003).
Foster Wheeler Environmental Corporation, Boston,
Massachusetts, is being awarded a 12,845,000 modification to a
cost plus fixed fee contract for remediation of Raymark site.
Work will be performed in Stratford, Connecticut, and is expected
to be completed by July 31, 1997. Contract funds will not expire
at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 250 bids
solicited on June 28, 1993 and 4 bids received. The contracting
activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Waltham,
Massachusetts (DACW33-94-D-0002).

NAVY
Lucas Western-Geared Systems Division, Park City, Utah, is
being awarded a $8,946,000 ceiling-priced-order for 126 aircraft
mounted accessory drives (AMADs) which support F/A-18 aircraft.
Work will be performed in Park City, Utah, and is expected to be
completed by August 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the
end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not
competitively procured. This contract combines purchases for the
U.S. Navy (34.6%) and the Governments of Finland (55%), and
Thailand (10.4%), under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program.
The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is
the contracting activity (N00383-93-G-M605) (Order 0024).
Lockheed Martin Corporation, Electronic and Missiles
Systems, Orlando, Florida, is being awarded a $6,768,000
modification to previously awarded contract N00019-95-C-0251 to
procure three Low Altitude Navigational Targeting Infrared for
Night (LANTIRN) Targeting Systems for integration into the F-14
aircraft. Work will be performed in Orlando, Florida, and is
expected to be completed by January 1997. Contract funds would
not have expired at the end of the current fiscal year. This
contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems
Command, Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity.
CORRECTION
Contract N66001-96-D-5077 for SEMCOR, Incorporated, announced on
September 26, 1996, was not competitively procured and should
have read as a sole source contract.
