DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
Tennessee Apparel Corp.*, Tullahoma, Tenn., is being awarded
a $8,011,650 firm fixed price contract for men's dress trousers.
One proposal was solicited and one was received. Work is
expected to be completed by June 12, 1998. The Defense Personnel
Support Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity

Durr Medical Corporation, Montgomery, Ala., is being awarded
a $6,916,763 firm fixed price indefinite quantity contract for
medical/surgical products under the Prime Vendor Medical/Surgical
program. Work will be performed in Seattle, Wash., and is
expected to be completed by Oct. 19, 1997. The Defense Personnel
Support Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity

Universal Fuel, Inc.*, Daleville, Ala., is being awarded a
$5,652,000 firm fixed price contract for alongside aircraft fuel
delivery and related services. Thirty-five proposals were
solicited and five were received. Work will be performed in
Patuxent River, Md., and is expected to be completed by October
31, 2000. The Defense Fuel Supply Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is
the contracting activity (SP0600-97-D-5700).
ARMY
AM General Corporation, South Bend, Ind., is being awarded a
$7,681,843 modification to a firm fixed price contract to
exercise a 5th year option for 167 High Mobility Multipurpose
Wheeled Vehicles A1 (HMMWV A1) for Thailand. Work will be
performed in Mishawaka, Ind., and is expected to be completed by
October 31, 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of
the current fiscal year. There were 30 bids solicited on
February 17, 1989, and one bid was received. The contracting
activity is the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command,
Warren, Mich. (DAAE07-89-C-0998).
AIR FORCE
Tecom, Incorporated, Austin, Texas, is being awarded a
$5,233,604 firm fixed price contract to provide for base supply
and vehicle operations and maintenance for Peterson Air Force
Base, Colo., from December 1996 through September 1997 (phase in
November 1996). The work will be performed at Peterson Air Force
Base, Colo. Contract is expected to be completed September 1997.
Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
There were 87 firms solicited and six proposals received.

awarded a $171,000,000 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity
contract to provide for environmental remediation, restoration,
operations and maintenance, and pollution prevention activities
in support of McClellan Air Force Base, Calif., and other sites
in Environmental Protection Agency Region 9 (Calif., Nev.,
Ariz.). The total amount of this contract is being shared by
three companies. This contractor has $60,000,000 obligated as of
today. Funds are obligated as individual delivery orders are
issued. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. There were 252 firm solicited and 18 proposals
received. Solicitation began January 1996; negotiations were
