CONTRACTS
BALLISTIC MISSILE DEFENSE ORGANIZATION
SPARTA, Incorporated, of Laguna Hills, CA, is being awarded
a $20,300,000 million cost-plus-award-fee small business
set-aside contract for Scientific, Engineering, and Technical
Assistance support to the Ballistic Missile Defense
Organization's Deputy for Acquisition/Theater Missile Defense.
Work will be performed at the SPARTA, Incorporated facility
located in Arlington, VA. The contract has a two-year base
period of performance and three one-year options, for a potential
total value of $51,600,000 million. Fiscal year 1996, 1997, and
1998 Research and Development funds will be used for the base
period. Forty-nine (49) solicitations were sent out, and two (2)
offers were recevied. The Ballistic Missile Defense
Organization, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
Colonial Healthcare Supply Co., Lake Zurich, Illinois, is
being awarded a $10,262,600 firm fixed price contract for medical
and surgical supplies under the Prime Vendor Medical/Surgical
program. Work will be performed in Lake Zurich, Illinois;
Indianapolis, Indiana; Cincinnati, Ohio; St. Louis, Missouri;
Minneapolis, Minnesota; and Detroit, Michigan and is expected to
be completed by October 26, 1997. The Defense Personnel Support
Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is the contracting activity

AIR FORCE
Harris Corporation, Melbourne, Florida, is being awarded a
$7,150,000 face value increase to a cost plus award fee contract
to provide for restructure of the Range Standardization and
Automation Contract for the Eastern Range. Contract is expected
to be completed May 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the
end of the current fiscal year. Space and Missile Systems
Center, Los Angeles AFB, California is the contracting activity
(F04701-93/C-0003, P00019).
Motorola, Incorporated, Scottsdale, Arizona, is being
awarded a $ 263666792 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity
contract to provide for the Theater Deployable Communications
Integrated Communications Access Packages Program. This program
will update deployable ground-to-ground communication
infrastructure, providing voice, data, and message service for up
to 147 operational units worldwide. Contract is expected to be
completed October 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the
end of the current fiscal year. There were 89 firms solicited
and 3 proposals received. Solicitation began May 1996;
negotiations were complete September 1996. Electronic Systems
Center, Hanscom AFB, Massachusetts, is the contracting activity

NAVY
ITT Federal Services Corporation, Colorado Springs, Colo.,
is being awarded an $8,640,356 firm-fixed-price contract for
management and technical services for the operation
and maintenance of the Atlantic Fleet Weapons Training Facility
(AFWTF), Naval Station, Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico.
Performance includes fixed and mobile instrumentation equipment
and facilities which may be located on islands, surface vessels,
and aircraft in the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean in the
areas northeast and southeast of Puerto Rico. This contract
contains options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative
value of the contract
to $28,358,816. Work will be performed in Roosevelt Roads,
Puerto Rico (60%); Pico del Este, Caribbean National Forest,
Naguabo, Puerto Rico (10%); Saint Croix, U.S. Virgin Island
(15%); Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands (5%), and Vieques
Island, Puerto Rico (10%), and is expected to be completed by
September 1997. Contract funds will expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured
with 104 proposals solicited and three offers received. The
Naval Command, Control and Ocean Surveillance Center, In-Service
Engineering, East Coast Division, Charleston, S.C., is the
contracting activity (N65236-97-C-7004).
Reliable Mechanical, Incorporated, Louisville, Ky, is being
awarded a $6,343,957 firm-fixed-price contract for the
maintenance and repair of petroleum oil lubricant tanks at the
Naval Station, Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico. Work will be
performed in Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico, and is expected to be
completed by August 2001. Contract funds will expire at the end
of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively
procured with 25 proposals solicited and five offers received.
