CONTRACTS
ARMY
McDonnell Douglas Aerospace (MDA), Monrovia, California, is
being awarded $7,743,848 as part of a $19,482,200 cost plus
fixed fee contract for FY97 depot level maintenance at Kiowa
Warrior facilities. Work will be performed at Coleman Barracks,
Germany (18%); Fort Bragg, North Carolina (18%); Fort Campbell,
Kentucky (18%); Fort Hood, Texas (18%); Camp Stanley, Korea
(17%); and Monrovia, California (11%), and is expected to be
completed by September 30, 1997. Contract funds will not expire
at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source
contract solicited on August 8, 1995. The contracting activity
is the U.S. Army Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama
(DAAH01-96-C-0027).
NAVY
International Bridge Corporation*, GMF, Guam, Marianas
Islands, is being awarded a $5,640,000 firm-fixed-price contract
for earthquake damage repairs to Wharf Sierra at U.S. Naval
Activities, Guam, Marianas Islands. Work will be performed in
Guam, Marianas Islands, and is expected to be completed by
October 1997. Contract funds will expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured
with 40 proposals solicited and two offer received. The Officer
in Charge of Construction, Naval Facilities Engineering Command
Contracts, Marianas, is the contracting activity (N62766-95-C-
2565).
AIR FORCE
United Technologies Corporation, West Palm Beach, Florida,
was awarded on October 28, a $6,251,177 face value increase to a
cost plus award fee contract to provide for the Period 11 (April
- September 1996) Earned Award Fee for performance of the
Engineering and Manufacturing Development Contract for the F-117
engine applicable to the F-22 aircraft. Contract is expected to
be completed May 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end
of the current fiscal year. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-
Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity
(F33657-91/C-0007, P00142).
TRW, Carson, California, was awarded on October 28, a
$47,000,000 firm fixed price contract to provide for the
acquisition and deployment of Tactical Automated Security System
(TASS) equipment. The contract includes manufacture, deployment,
training, and support of TASS equipment to meet Air Force
protection requirements. Contract funds will not expire at the
end of the current fiscal year. There was one firm solicited.
Negotiations were completed October 1996. Electronic Systems
Center, Hanscom AFB, Massachusetts, is the contracting activity
(F19628-97/C-0013).
Lockheed Martin Corporation, Marietta, Georgia, is being
awarded a $5,798,305 face value increase to a cost plus award fee
contract to provide for additional flight test support for the F-
22 aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed September
2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air
Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-91/C-0006,
P00262).
