CONTRACTS
DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
Owens & Minor, Richmond, Virginia, is being awarded a
$19,297,745 firm fixed price requirements contract for medical
and surgical supplies under the Prime Vendor Medical/Surgical
program. Work will be performed in Bridgeton, New Jersey, and
Savage, Maryland and is expected to be completed by November
1997. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania is the contracting activity (SP0200-97-D-7128).
ARMY
Lockheed Martin Vought Systems Corporation, Grand Prairie,
Texas, is being awarded an $18,000,000 increment as a
modification to a cost plus incentive fee contract for partial
FY97 incremental funding for the continued development of the
Army Tactical (Army TACMS) Missile System Block II Guided Missile
and Launching Assembly. Work will be performed in Grand Prairie,
Texas, and is expected to be completed by July 31, 1999.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. This is a sole source contract initiated on October 28,
1994. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Missile Command,
Redstone Arsenal, Alabama (DAAH01-95-C-0001).
CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY
Stone & Webster Environmental Technology & Services, Boston,
Massachusetts, is being awarded a firm fixed price and cost plus
fixed fee delivery order contract (appropriation number and
dollar value will be issued with each delivery order) with a
cumulative total of $50,000,000 (over the next 5 years) for
remediation work in support of the Hazardous Toxic and
Radioactive Waste Program of the New England Division. Work will
be performed in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island,
Connecticut, Vermont and Maine, and is expected to be completed
by October 31, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end
of the current fiscal year. There were over 200 bids solicited
on February 20, 1996, and nine bids were received. The
contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers,
Waltham, Massachusetts (DACW33-97-D-0002).

NAVY
Hughes Space and Communications Company, El Segundo, Calif.,
is being awarded a $99,264,536 modification to previously awarded
contract N00039-88-C-0300 to exercise an option for Global
Broadcast System (GBS) on the last three Ultra High Frequency
Follow-on Satellites, F8, F9 and F10. Work will be performed in
El Segundo, Calif., and is expected to
be completed by December 1998. Contract funds will not expire at
the end of the current fiscal year. The Space and Naval Warfare
Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.
OHM Remediation Services Corporation, Aiea, Hawaii, is being
awarded a $1,520,401 modification to previously awarded contract
N62742-93-D-0610 for environmental remedial action for all
services, labor, equipment and materials required to construct an
extraction trench system, complete storm drain modifications, and
abandon fuel oil line at Building 8, Controlled Industrial Area,
Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The basic
total contract amount includes options which, if exercised, would
bring the cumulative value of this contract to an amount not-to-
exceed $250,000,000. Work will be performed on the Island of
Oahu, Hawaii, and is expected to be completed by September 1997.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Pacific
Division, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, is the contracting activity.
