CONTRACTS
DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
Bergen Brunswig Drug Co., Orange, California, is being
awarded a $12,550,050 firm fixed price modified requirements
contract for pharmaceuticals under the Prime Vendor
Pharmaceutical program. Work will be performed in Glen Allen,
Virginia, and is expected to be completed by November 7, 1997.
The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
is the contracting activity (SP0200-94-D-7001).
NAVY
Advanced Communication Systems Incorporated, Fairfax, Va.,
is being awarded an option under a cost-plus-fixed fee contract.
The maximum quantity established for this option
is $16,600,124. Funds being obligated today are $787,750. This
modification is for the management and program support services
required to provide manpower and expertise to
ensure high quality program management, financial management,
cost analysis, information management, foreign military sales,
installation/inventory management, and configuration management
for Navy satellite communications, submarine communications and
communications systems engineering program offices. Work will be
performed in Arlington, Va., and is expected to be completed by
September 1997. Contract funds will expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems
Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00039-96-C-
0066).
LOGICON Syscon Corporation, Falls Church, Va., is being
awarded a $7,228,015 cost-plus-award-fee five-year indefinite
delivery, indefinite quantity contract for design, development,
testing, integration, configuration management and deployment of
ongoing computing-based projects in support of the Architecture
and Engineering Division of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center
Division, Newport, R.I. Work will be performed in Newport, R.I.,
and is expected to be completed by October 2001. Contract funds
in the amount of $50,000 will expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 58
proposals solicited and one offer received. The Naval Undersea
Warfare Center Division, Newport, R.I., is the contracting
activity (N66604-97-D-0071).
AIR FORCE
United Technologies Corporation, West Palm Beach, Florida,
is being awarded a $13,098,794 firm fixed price contract to
provide for 690 Multiple Spare parts applicable to the F100-PW-
229 engines on the F-15S for the Royal Saudi Air Force, in an
unclassified Foreign Military Sales transaction for the Kingdom
of Saudi Arabia. The work will be performed at United
Technologies Corporation, East Hartford, Connecticut. Contract
is expected to be completed September 1999. Contract funds will
not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was one
firms solicited and one proposal received. Solicitation began
March 1995; negotiations were completed August 1996. This effort
supports foreign military sales to Saudi Arabia. San Antonio Air
Logistics Center, Kelly Air Force Base, Texas, is the contracting
activity (F41608-96/D-0635).
Boeing Defense & Space Group, Seattle, Washington, is being
awarded a $34,892,599 face value increase to a firm fixed price
contract to provide for Lot Two production for the Airborne
Warning and Control System (AWACS) Radar System Improvement
Program (RSIP). The work will be performed at Westinghouse
Electric Corp., Baltimore, Maryland. Contract is expected to be
completed January 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the
end of the current fiscal year. Electronic System Center,
Hanscom AFB, Massachusetts, is the contracting activity (F19628-
95/C-0041, P00007).
Serv-Air Incorporated, Greenville, Texas, is being awarded a
$15,248,000 face value increase to a firm fixed price contract to
provide logistics support for the C-21A aircraft, consisting of
maintenance, repair and supply functions. The work will be
performed by Serv-Air, Inc., Greenville, Texas (25%); Bombardier
Aviation Services, Tucson, Arizona (25%), CFC Aviation Services,
Houston, Texas (35%) and other locations. Contract is expected
to be completed September 1997. Contract funds will not expire
at the end of the current fiscal year. Oklahoma Air Logistics
Center, Tinker AFB, Oklahoma, is the contracting activity (F34601-
94/C-0950, P00039).
Flight Safety Center, Littleton, Colorado, is being awarded
a $7,196,424 face value increase to a firm fixed price contract
to provide for FY1997 operation, maintenance, and support for the
Aircrew Training System for the C-141 aircraft. Contract is
expected to be completed September 1997. Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Aeronautical
Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting
activity (F33657-95/C-0048, P00003).
Lockheed Martin Federal Services Corporation, Gaithersburg,
Maryland, is being awarded a $6,816,680 face value increase to a
cost plus award fee contract to definitize cost growth associated
with transition to the new Command and Control Sustainment
Contract for the Air Force Satellite Control Network. The work
will be performed at Lockheed Martin Federal Services
Corporation, Colorado Springs, Colorado (70%) and various other
locations. Contract
is expected to be completed October 2003. Contract funds will
not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Space and
Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles, California, is the
contracting activity (F04701-96/C-0033, P00004).
McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, St. Louis, Missouri, is being
awarded a $196,700,000 face value increase to a firm fixed price
contract to provide for lease of 165 housing units from November
1996 through December 2002 at the MK-1 Compound, Khamis, Saudi
Arabia. Contract is expected to be completed December 2002.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins AFB, Georgia,
