CONTRACTS
DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
Owens & Minor, Inc., Glen Allen, Virginia, was awarded on
November 1, 1996, a $17,893,575 firm fixed price requirements
contract for medical/surgical supplies under the Prime Vendor
Medical/Surgical program. Work will be performed in Pelham,
Alabama; Jacksonville, Florida; Richland, Mississippi; Harahan,
Louisiana; and Carrollton, Texas, and is expected to be completed
by November 13, 1997. The Defense Personnel Support Center,
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is the contracting activity (SP0200-96-
D-7110).

November 1, 1996, a $20,346,836 firm fixed price requirements
contract for medical/surgical supplies under the Prime Vendor
Medical/Surgical program. Work will be performed in Orlando,
Florida; Jacksonville, Florida; Sunrise, Florida; Evans, Georgia;
and Atlanta, Georgia, and is expected to be completed by November
6, 1997. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania is the contracting activity (SP0200-96-D-7108).
IIT Research Institute, Chicago, Illinois, was awarded on
November 1, 1996, a $26,647,363 cost plus fixed fee contract for
establishment and operation of the Department of Defense Advanced
Materials and Processes Information Analysis Center. Work will
be performed in Huntsville, Alabama; Chicago, Illinois; LaPorte,
Indiana; Lanham, Maryland; Rome, New York; Dayton, Ohio; and
Newington, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by October
31, 1999. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year.
The Defense Supply Center Columbus, Columbus, Ohio is the
contracting activity (SP0700-97-D-4001).
Texas Research Institute Austin, Inc.*, Austin, Texas, was
awarded on November 1, 1996, a $16,288,753 cost plus fixed fee
contract for establishment and operation of the Department of
Defense Non-destructive Testing Information Analysis Center.
Work is expected to be completed by November 2, 2001. Funds will
not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply
Center Columbus, Columbus, Ohio is the contracting activity

AIR FORCE
Advanced Programming Concepts, Incorporated, Austin, Texas,
is being awarded a $15,700,000 time and material contract to
provide contractor logistics support through December 1999 for
the Air Defense Systems Integrator (ADSI). Contract is expected
to be completed December 1999. Contract funds will not expire at
the end of the current fiscal year. There was one firm solicited
and one proposal received. Solicitation began May 1996;
negotiations were complete October 1996. Sacramento Air
Logistics Center, McClellan Air Force Base, California, is the
contracting activity (F04606-96/D-0206).
United Technologies Corporation, West Palm Beach, Florida,
is being awarded a $49,248,048 face value increase to a firm
fixed price contract to provide for twelve F100-PW-229 engines
applicable to the F-15 aircraft. The work will be performed at
Pratt & Whitney Manufacturing Division, East Hartford,
Connecticut. Contract is expected to be completed September
1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air
Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-94/D-2001,
P0035).
NAVY
Westinghouse Electric Corporation, Plant Apparatus Division,
Pittsburgh, Pa., is being awarded a $90,143,624 modification to
previously awarded contract N00024-96-C-4051 for Naval Nuclear
Propulsion Components. Work will be performed in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the
contracting activity.
Westinghouse Electric Corporation, Machinery Apparatus
Operation, Schenectady, N.Y., is being awarded a $33,066,000
modification to previously awarded contract N00024-96-C-4053 for
Naval Nuclear Propulsion Components. Work will be performed in
Schenectady, N.Y. Contract funds will not expire at the end of
the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command,
Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.
