CONTRACTS
ARMY
General Dynamics Land Systems, Mich., is being awarded a
$5,913,423 firm-fixed-price contract for 60 Gold Medallion Engine
Kits, 6 Engine Overhaul Kits and training. Work will be
performed in Muskegon, Mich. (88%), Egypt (12%) and is expected
to be completed by July 22, 1997. Contracts funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole
source contract initiated on Aug. 16, 1996. The U.S. Army Tank-
automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting
activity (DAAE07-97-C-X025).
AIR FORCE
Raytheon Company, Marlborough, Mass., is being awarded an
$8,289,970 face value increase to a cost plus fixed fee contract
to provide approximately 117,083 labor hours in support of the
Portable Reusable Integrated Software Module (PRISM) program.
This program establishes a facility for the development and
integration of computer-based Command and Control systems using
open architecture and commercial computer products. The work
will be performed at Hanscom AFB, Mass. Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Electronic Systems
Center, Hanscom AFB, Mass., is the contracting activity (F19628-
92/C-0008).
CORRECTION: Last Friday, Nov. 15, three contracts were announced
in error. These contracts have not been awarded: Space Vector
Corporation, Chatsworth, Calif., for $63,454,334; Coleman
Research Corporation, Orlando, Fla., for $136,041,558; and
Orbital Sciences Corporation, Chandler, Ariz., for $67,602,597.
NAVY
Interstate Electronics Corporation, Santa Ana, Calif., is
being awarded a $34,985,651 cost-plus-fixed-fee follow-on
contract to provide engineering, logistics, and field services
for TRIDENT I (C4) and TRIDENT II (D5) flight test
instrumentation. This contract combines

purchases for the U.S. Navy (93.62%), and the United Kingdom
(6.38%), under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program. The
contract is divided into two distinct efforts: (1) the level-
of-effort support for the U.S. and U.K. and (2) completion effort
consisting of U.S. repairs,
U.S. replenishment spares, U.S. Strategic Systems Programs
Alterations (SPALTs), U.K. repairs and U.K. SPALTs. Work will be
performed in Santa Ana, Calif., and is expected to be completed
by September 1997. Contract funds in the amount of $26,689,480
would have expired at the end of the current fiscal year. This
contract was not competitively procured. The Navy's Strategic
Systems Programs, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity
(N00030-97-C-0013).
