being awarded a $10,234,000 firm-fixed-price contract for whole-
house revitalization of Family Housing Units at Nimitz Village,
Naval Training Center, Great Lakes, Ill.
Work will be performed
in Great Lakes, Ill., and is expected to be completed by June
1998.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current

Daley Corporation-California Commercial Asphalt Corporation
(a joint venture) of San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a
$20,087,700 firm-fixed-price contract for landing pads, taxiway,
apron and landing strip at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, San
Diego, Calif., Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and
is expected to be completed by February 1998.
Contract funds
will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

of a control tower/aircraft maintenance hangars at the Marine

by October 1997.

Kaman Aerospace Corporation of Bloomfield, Conn., is being
awarded a $59,856,728 modification to previously awarded contract
N00019-95-C-0127 to definitize a letter contract and convert it
to a firm-fixed-price contract for the upgrade of 10 SH-2F
helicopters to the
SH-2G(E) configuration for the Arab Republic of Egypt under the
Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program.
Work will be performed in
Bloomfield, Conn., and is expected to be completed by July 1998.
Contract funds would not have expired at the end of the current

Raytheon E-Systems, Greenville, Texas, is being awarded a
$16,791,353 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-94-
C-0213 to exercise an option for 15 SRP Core Kits for the P-3C
Sustained Readiness Program.
Work will be performed in
Greenville, Texas, and is expected to be completed by September
1999.

ARMY
Stolper-Fabralloy Co.*, Brookfield, Wis., is being awarded a
$7,972,168 firm fixed price contract for 1,171 combuster liners,
a component of the automotive gas turbine 1500 engine for the M1
tank.
Work will be performed in Milwaukee, Wis. (60%), and
Phoenix, Ariz. (40%), and is expected to be completed by May 10,
1999.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year.
There were two bids solicited on Sept. 4, 1996, and
two bids were received.
The U.S. Army Tank-automotive &
Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity
(DAAE07-97-C-T071).
FN Manufacturing Inc., Columbia, S.C., is being awarded a
$10,005,792 modification (program year two) as part of a firm
fixed price multi-year contract for 3,802 M249 Machine Guns.
Work will be performed in Columbia, S.C., and is expected to be
completed by July 31, 1999.
Contract funds will not expire at
the end of the current fiscal year.
This is a sole source
contract initiated on July 30, 1996.

automotive & Armaments Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the

AIR FORCE
Fargo Pacific, Incorporated, Agana, Guam, is being awarded a
$7,049,194 firm fixed price contract to provide for alterations
to an improvement of 62 units of military family housing at
Andersen AFB, Guam.
This works includes repair, energy
conservation alterations, and modernization improvements.
Contract is expected to be completed January 1998.
Contract
funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
There were 26 firms solicited and 10 proposals received.

Lockheed Martin Commercial Launch Services, Incorporated,
Littleton, Colo., is being awarded a $87,600,000 face value
increase to a firm fixed price contract to provide for one Atlas
IIAS commercial space launch vehicle.
The work will be performed
by Lockheed Martin
Commercial Launch Services, Littleton, Colo.
(55%), United
Technologies Corporation, West Palm Beach, Fla.
(25%) and at
various other locations.
Contract is expected to be completed
November 1999.
At this time, $432,669 of the contract funds have
been obligated.

current fiscal year.
Space and Missile Systems Center, Los
Angeles, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04701-96/C-0002,
P00003).
Lockheed Martin Corporation, Littleton, Colo., is being
awarded a $169,789,811 face value increase to a cost plus award
fee contract to provide for Systems Engineering and Management
and Launch Operation Support for the Atlas launch vehicle from
FY1997 through FY2002.
The work will be performed at Cape
Canaveral Air Station, Florida (28%), Vandenberg AFB, Calif.
(67%) and at various other locations.
At this time, $21,904,000
of the contract funds have been obligated.
Contract is expected
to be completed September 2003.
