CONTRACTS
DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
Joseph Webb Foods*, Vista, Calif., is being awarded an
$11,800,000 firm fixed price indefinite quantity contract for
prime vendor food and beverage support.
Ninety five proposals
were solicited and five were received.
Work is expected to be
completed by 1998.
Funds will not expire at the end of the
fiscal year.
The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia,
Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0300-97-D-2914).
NAVY
Raytheon Company Service, Virginia Beach, Va., is being
awarded a $9,099,098
basic ordering agreement for repair parts for the Sidewinder
Missile, SPS-49 Radar System, NATO Sea-Sparrow and WSC-6
Communication System and four other weapon systems.
Work will be performed in Irvine, Calif. (40%), Virginia Beach,
Va. (20%), Manchester, N.H. (20%), and Goleta, Calif. (20%), and
is expected to be completed by December 1997.
Contract funds
will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
This
contract was not competitively procured.
The Naval Inventory
Control Point, Mechanicsburg, Pa., is the contracting activity
(N00104-93-G-A050 Order 0004).
Lockheed Martin Engineering & Sciences Company, San Diego,
Calif., is being awarded an $8,037,938 modification to previously
awarded contract N00024-93-C-6100 to exercise an option for
systems support for the Deep Submergence Systems Program.
Work
will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be
completed by September 1998.
Contract funds in the amount of
$3,766,033 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting
activity.
CORRECTION
Contract N00024-95-C-5159 for Lockheed Martin, Government
Electronic Systems, announced December 4, 1996, should have
stated that contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year.
AIR FORCE
CORRECTION: On December 6, we announced 3 contracts of
$33,000,000 each.
We stated that $25 Million of the contract
funds for each contract were being obligated.
It should have
stated that $25 Thousand for each contract were being obligated.
Hughes Information Systems Company, Fullerton, Calif., is
being awarded a $7,909,280 face value increase to a cost plus
fixed fee contract to provide for an additional 97,471 labor
hours in support of implementation of the Portable Reusable
Integrated Software Module (PRISM) program.
The work will be
performed at Hanscom AFB Software Development Center, Hanscom
AFB, Mass.
Contract is expected to be completed January 1998.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year.
Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom AFB, Mass., is the
contracting activity (F19628-92/C-0006, P00051).
Boeing Defense and Space Group, Wichita, Kan., is being
awarded a $10,141,959 firm fixed price contract to provide for re-
engineering installation for ten KC-135 aircraft.
Contract is
expected to be completed May 1998.
Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
There were four
firms solicited and one proposal received.
Solicitation began
July 1996; negotiations were completed September 1996.
This
effort supports foreign military sales to Turkey (7 aircraft) and
France (3 aircraft).
Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker
AFB, Okla., is the contracting activity (F34601-97/C-0078).
ARMY
Lockheed Martin Librascope, Glendale, Calif., is being
awarded a $2,600,000 increment as part of a $31,823,489 cost plus
fixed fee contract to provide all necessary labor, material, and
services to conduct the engineering and manufacturing development
of the Joint Biological Point Detection System (JBPDS) which
encompasses system study, design, fabrication, integration,
installation, test and documentation of the JBPDS for various
designated service platforms.
Work will be performed in
Glendale, Calif. (60%), and Columbus, Ohio (40%), and is expected
to be completed by Sept. 30, 1999.
Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
There were 62 bids
solicited on May 22, 1996, and two bids were received.
The
contracting activity is the U.S. Army Chemical & Biological
Defense Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md. (DAAM01-97-C-0004).
