CONTRACTS

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Propper International, Inc.**, Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, is being awarded a $24,044,468 firm fixed price indefinite type/indefinite quantity contract for Type VI, woodland camouflage, enhanced hot weather trousers. Work will performed in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico; Adjuntas, Puerto Rico; and Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico. Work is expected to be completed by May 1998. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0100-95-D-0361).

Golden Manufacturing Company, Inc.**, Golden, Miss., is being awarded a $11,877,932 firm fixed price indefinite type/indefinite quantity contract for Type VI, woodland camouflage, enhanced hot weather trousers. Work will performed in Marietta, Miss., and is expected to be completed by May 1998. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0100-95-D-0360).

Tennessee Wholesale Drug Co.*, Nashville, Tenn., is being awarded a $12,961,000 firm fixed price indefinite quantity contract for pharmaceuticals under the Prime Vendor program. Work will be performed in Baltimore, Md.; Nashville, Tenn.; and Tampa, Fla., and is expected to be completed Dec. 18, 1997. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0200-97-D-7020).

AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Corporation, Marietta, Ga., was awarded on December 17, a $118,200,000 face value increase to a firm fixed price contract to provide for four C-130H aircraft, unique modification thereto, and associated data. Contract is expected to be completed December 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This effort supports foreign military sales to Taiwan. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright- Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-90/C- 0071, P00100).

Lockheed Martin Corporation, Marietta, Ga., is being awarded a $35,100,000 face value increase to a firm fixed price contract to provide one C-130H aircraft, unique modifications thereto, and associated data. Contract is expected to be completed December 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This effort supports foreign military sales to Japan. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-90/C-0071, P00092).

General Electric Company, Cincinnati, Ohio, is being awarded a $7,745,075 face value increase to a indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide for 258 retrofit kits to upgrade the High Pressure Compressor Variable Stator Vane on the F110-GE-129 engine applicable to the F-16 aircraft. This effort also provides for 897 retrofit kits to perform the same upgrade on the F-110-GE-100 engine also applicable to the F-16 aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed September 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-94/D-2000, SB03).

ARMY

TRW Systems Integration Group, Redondo Beach, Calif., is being awarded $11,893,478 (for base year through Sept. 30, 1999) as part of a cost plus fixed fee multi-year contract with a cumulative total of $20,465,343 (three years base plus two one- year options) for program management and development to provide upgraded versions of the Modernized Intelligence Data Base (MIDB). Work will be performed in Mountainview, Calif. (80%), Chantilly, Va. (15%), and Washington, D.C. (5%), and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 80 bids solicited on Oct. 22, 1996, and two bids were received. The contracting activity is the Virginia Contracting Activity, Washington, D.C. (MDA908-97-C-0009).

McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Systems, Mesa, Ariz. is being awarded a delivery order amount of $30,714,000 for a firm-fixed price contract for 216 main rotor blades and 240 tail rotor blades for the AH-64 Apache Attack Helicopter. Work will be performed in Mesa, Ariz., and is expected to be completed by Jan. 5, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on July 30, 1996. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation & Troop Command, St. Louis, Mo. (DAAJ09-94-G-0005).

MEVATEC Corp.*, Huntsville, Ala., is being awarded an increment of an $833,791,640 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for a systems engineering and technical assistance contract. Work will be performed in Huntsville, Ala. (97%), Washington, D.C. (1%), Colorado Springs, Colo. (1%), and White Sands, N.M. (1%), and is expected to be completed by April 23, 2002. There were 140 bids solicited on Aug. 8, 1996, and four bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Strategic Defense Command, Huntsville, Ala.(DASG60-97-D- 0001).

Nichols Research Corp., Huntsville, Ala., is being awarded an increment of a $649,099,672 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for a systems engineering and technical assistance contract. Work will be performed in Huntsville, Ala. (97%), Washington, D.C. (1%), Colorado Springs, Colo. (1%), and White Sands, N.M. (1%), and is expected to be completed by April 23, 2002. NAVY

Lockheed Martin, Government Electronic Systems Division, Moorestown, N.J., is being awarded a $98,000,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide engineering and concept feasibility studies services in support of the Program Executive Office, Surface Combatants/ AEGIS Program (PEO SC/AP). Work will be performed in Moorestown, N.J., and is expected to be completed by November 2000. Contract funds in the amount of $180,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00024-97-C-5172).

Lockheed Martin Corporation, Aero & Naval Systems, Baltimore, Md., is being awarded a $16,351,591 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-94-C-5316 for engineering services in support of the MK 41 Vertical Launching Systems (VLS). Work will be performed in Baltimore, Md., and is expected to be completed by December 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Raytheon Company, Electronic Systems, Wayland, Mass., is being awarded a $54,104,952 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-95-C-5158 for production of four shipsets of Aegis Weapon System (AWS) OT-146/SPY-1D Transmitter Group and Fire Control System (FCS) MK99 MOD 3 Ancillary Equipment for DDG's 85, 86, 87, and 88. Work will be performed in Waltham, Mass., and is expected to be completed by January 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Raytheon Company, Electronic Systems, Wayland, Mass., is being awarded a $13,891,664 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-93-C-5100 for production of four shipsets of AEGIS Weapon System (AWS) Fire Control System (FCS) MK99 MOD 3 components, installation parts microwave (IKEE- M/U) and site support for DDGs 85, 86, 87, and 88. Work will be performed in Waltham, Mass., and is expected to be completed by September 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Litton Systems, Incorporated, Guidance and Control Systems Division, Woodland Hills, Calif., is being awarded a $10,356,835 firm-fixed-price contract to procure 39 Computer Interface Units/Encoders, system repairable assemblies, and piece parts with related technical support data for GFE 82-89 Block Upgrade in support of the EA-6B program. Work will be performed in Northridge, Calif., and is expected to be completed by December 1998. Contract funds would not have expired at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00019-96-C- 0169).
