NAVY
Hughes Aircraft Mississippi, Incorporated, Middletown, R.I.,
is being awarded a $24,757,079 indefinite delivery/indefinite
quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee pricing contract to provide
technical and engineering services in support of the MK 48
Heavyweight Torpedo Program, including the MK 48 ADCAP, in
support of programs handled by Naval Undersea Warfare Center
Division, Newport, R.I. Work will be performed in Newport, R.I.
(95%)
and Fullerton, Calif. (5%), and is expected to be completed by
January 2002. Contract funds
in the amount of $50,000 will expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 23
proposals solicited and one offer received. The Naval
Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport, Newport, R.I., is the

Pacific Ship Repair & Fabrication, Port Orchard, Wash., is
being awarded a $5,669,927 firm-fixed-price contract job order to
prepare for and accomplish the Planned Incremental Availability
for USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70). Work will be performed in
Bremerton, Wash., and is expected to be completed by August 1997.
Contract funds in the amount of $1,133,985 will expire at the end
of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively
procured with
10 proposals solicited and four offers received. The SUPSHIP
Puget Sound, Everett, Wash., is
the contracting activity (N00024-92-H-8649) (Job Order 977M14).
Raytheon E-Systems, ECI Division, St. Petersburg, Fla., is
being awarded a $10,000,000 modification to previously awarded
contract for Design Agent functions for the Cooperative
Engagement Capability (CEC) Processor (CEP) segment. Work will
be performed in St. Petersburg, Fla. (90%), and Baltimore, Md.
(10%), and is expected to be completed by September 1998.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal

AIR FORCE
Lockheed Martin Corporation, Ft. Worth, Texas, is being
awarded a $107,500,050 face value increase to a firm fixed price
contract to provide for CY 1997-1998 recurring manufacturing
support for production of the F-16 aircraft. Contract is
expected to be completed December 1998. Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Aeronautical
Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio is the contracting

Boeing Defense and Space Group, Seattle, Washington, is
being awarded a $29,999,929 face value increase to a cost plus
fixed fee contract to provide for risk assessment and reduction
trade studies, and fabrication, prototyping, and test of initial
concepts and designs of upgrades for major subsystems of the E-3A
Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) aircraft. Contract
is expected to be completed September 1997. Contract funds will
not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Electronic
Systems Center, Hanscom AFB, Mass., is the contracting activity

Boeing North American, Inc., Seal Beach, Calif., is being
awarded a $12,024,492 face value increase to a firm fixed price
contract to provide for FY 1997 Programmed Depot Maintenance for
the B-1B aircraft. The work will be performed at Palmdale
Modification Center, Palmdale, Calif. Contract is expected to be
completed May 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of
the current fiscal year. Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center,
Tinker AFB, Okla., is the contracting activity (F34601-90/C-2257,
P00064).
ARMY
The Clark Construction Group, Inc., Bethesda, Md., was
awarded a $13,677.000 firm-fixed-price contract for C-130
Squadron Operations/Aircraft Maintenance Unit Facilities and
Petroleum Operations Laboratory. Work will be performed at
Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark., and is expected to be completed
by Nov. 14, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of
the current fiscal year. There were 46 bids solicited on Nov.
20, 1996, and three bids received. The contracting activity is
the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock, Ark. (DACA03-97-C-
0006).
General Dynamics Land Systems Division, Warren, Mich., is
being awarded $4,108,872 as part of a $8,217,744 firm-fixed-price
contract for 16 lines of spare parts (various quantities) in
support of the M1A2 Abrams Tank. Work will be performed in
Tallahassee, Fla. (50%), and Lima, Ohio (50%), and is expected
to be completed by Dec. 31, 2000. Contract funds will not expire
at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source
contract initiated on July 26, 1996. The contracting activity is
