DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
American Apparel Inc.**, Selma, Ala., is being awarded a
$21,203,167 firm fixed price indefinite delivery/indefinite
quantity contract for Type VI enhanced hot weather woodland
camouflage coats. Forty six proposals were solicited and two
were received. Work will be performed in Ft. Deposit, Ala.., and
is expected to be completed by January 1998. Funds will not
expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Personnel
Support Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity
(SP0100-95-D-0353).
AIR FORCE
Hughes Missile Systems Company, Tucson, Ariz., is being
awarded a $20,553,776 firm fixed price contract to provide for 30
AGM-65G Maverick missiles, 123 AFM-65D Maverick Missiles, 12 AGM-
65F Maverick missiles, 7 TGM-65D Maverick trainers with
recorders, 1 MMT-65D Maverick maintenance trainer, and 4 CATM-65F
Captive Air Training Missiles. This effort also includes
Guidance Control Systems configured for the following Maverick
equipment in the following quantities: 21 for the TGM-65G
trainer, 4 for the TGM-65D trainer, 2 for the AGM-65G missile, 3
for the AGM 65-D missile, and 2 for the AGM-65F missile.
Contract is expected to be completed July 1999. Contract funds
will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There
were 9 firms solicited and 2 proposals received. Solicitation
began July 1996; negotiations were completed November 1996. This
effort supports foreign military sales to Turkey, Egypt, Korea,
Belgium, Malaysia, and Italy. Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill
AFB, Utah, is the contracting activity (F42630-97/C-0053).
