DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
Alliant Foodservice Inc., Salem, Mo., is being awarded a
$6,900,000 firm fixed price indefinite quantity contract for full
line food distribution. Fifty proposals were solicited and four
were received. Work is expected to be completed by FY `97.
Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense
Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting
activity (SP0300-97-D-2927).
Alliant Foodservice Inc., Salem, Mo., is being awarded a
$11,300,000 firm fixed price indefinite quantity contract for
full line food distribution. One hundred forty five proposals
were solicited and six were received. Work is expected to be
completed by FY `97. Funds will not expire at the end of the
fiscal year. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia,

AIR FORCE
Booz Allen and Hamilton, Inc., McLean, Va., was awarded on
January 10, a $24,900,000 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity
contract to provide for design, development, test, evaluation,
documentation, delivery and maintenance of Intelligent Tutoring
Systems to be configured for various systems on a range of
weapons systems. Contract is expected to be completed January
2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. There were 219 firms solicited and 6 proposals
received. Human Systems Center, Brooks AFB, Texas, is the
contracting activity (F41624-97/D-1000).
Raytheon Company, Marlborough, Mass., was awarded on January
10, a $5,310,000 face value increase to a time and materials
contract to provide for Special Analysis Tasks, System Test
Support, and associated data, in support of the Air Force's
MILSATCOM terminals. Contract is expected to be completed July
1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom AFB, Mass., is
the contracting activity (F19628-85/C-0004, P00243).
Computer Sciences Corporation, Moorestown, N.J., was awarded
on January 10, an $11,239,229 face value increase to a firm fixed
price contract to provide for development of hardware and
software upgrades to modernize the core administrative and
operational functions of the Defense Commissary Information
System (DCIS). The work will be performed at Computer Sciences,
Montgomery Systems Center, Montgomery, Ala. (90%) and at other
locations. Contract is expected to be completed July 1998.

year. Standard Systems Group, Maxwell AFB, Ala., is the
contracting activity (F01620-95/D-0002, P00007).
McDonnell Douglas Training Systems, St. Louis, Mo., is being
awarded a $9,828,318 face value increase to a firm fixed price
contract to provide for integration of Global Positioning System
into 62 T-1 aircraft and 2 T-1 flight simulators. The work will
be performed at McDonnell Douglas Training Systems, St. Louis,
Mo., and Raytheon Aerospace, Madison, Miss. Contract is expected
to be completed January 1999. Contract funds will not expire at
the end of the current fiscal year. Aeronautical Systems Center,
Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-
89/C-0002, P00228).
Vanguard Research, Inc., Fairfax, Va., is being awarded a
$8,400,000 face value increase to a indefinite quantity contract
to provide non-personal advisory and assistance services for the
National Test Facility, Falcon AFB, Colo. These services will
include the areas of financial management, modeling, simulation,
test, hardware and software development and integration, system
engineering, and wargaming. Contract is expected to be completed
January 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. The Joint National Test Facility, Falcon
AFB, Colo., is the contracting activity (FA2524-95/D-0001).
NAVY
Halter Marine, Incorporated, Gulfport, Miss., is being
awarded a $51,686,293 modification to previously awarded
contract N00024-95-C-2301 to exercise an option for construction
of the FY 97 Oceanographic Research Ship, T-AGS 64. Work will
be performed
in Moss Point, Miss., and is expected to be completed by January
2000. Contract funds will
not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea
Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.
RF Microsystems, Incorporated, San Diego, Calif., is being
awarded a $9,313,564 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity,
cost-plus-fixed-fee pricing contract for systems engineering
services to provide life cycle support for tactical satellite
communication
software programs in the areas of Ultra High Frequency (UHF),
Super High Frequency
(SHF) and Extremely High Frequency (EHF). This contract contains
options which, if
exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of the entire
contract to $29,200,312. Work
will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be
completed by January 1998.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. This contract was competitively procured with 90 proposals
solicited and three offers received. The Naval Command, Control
and Ocean Surveillance Center RDT&E Division, San Diego, Calif.,
is
the contracting activity (N66001-97-D-5026).
Lockheed Martin Electro-Optical Systems, Incorporated,
Pomona, Calif., is being awarded a $14,497,494 firm-fixed-price
contract for the procurement of 376 Simulated Area Weapons
Effect/Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System II (SAWE/MILES
II) devices for the U.S. Army. Work will be performed in Pomona,
Calif. (80%), and La Mesa, Mexico (20%), and is expected to be
completed by April 1998. Contract funds in the amount of $24,090
would have expired at the end of the current fiscal year. This
contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Warfare
Center Training Systems Division, Orlando, Fla., is the
contracting activity (N61339-97-C-0010).
