CONTRACTS
DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
Colonial Healthcare, Lake Zurich, Ill., is being awarded a
$12,279,760 firm fixed price modified requirements contract for
medical/surgical supplies under the Prime Vendor program. Work
is expected to be completed by Jan. 28, 1998. The Defense
Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting
activity (SP0200-96-D-7117).
AIR FORCE
McDonnell Douglas Corporation, St. Louis, Mo., is being
awarded a $39,543,682 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price
contract to provide for lease of 420 units of family housing at
Complex MD-22, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia for personnel supporting the
Royal Saudi Air Force Technical Support Program III and the Peace
Sun IX Contractor Technical Support program. Contract is
expected to be completed December 1997. Contract funds will not
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This effort
supports foreign military sales to Saudi Arabia. Warner Robins
Air Logistics Center, Robins AFB, Ga., is the contracting
activity (F09603-94/C-0958, P000036).
ARMY
Lockheed Martin Vought Systems, Dallas, Texas, is being
awarded a $13,175,951 modification to a cost-plus-award-fee
contract for the 1997 engineering services to the Army Tactical
System (Army TACMS). Work will be performed in Dallas, Texas,
and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 1996. Of the total
contract funds, $2,327,572 will expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on April
29, 1996. The contracting activity is the U.S. Missile Command,
Redstone Arsenal, Ala. (DAAH01-92-C-0038).
CC Engineering & Construction, Inc.*, Kaneohe, Hawaii, is
being awarded a $6,753,811 firm-fixed-price contract for
construction of a new Squadron Operations Facility at Hickam Air
Force Base, Hawaii, and is expected to be completed by July 2,
1998. There were 42 bids solicited on Nov. 15, 1996, and 11 bids
received. The contracting activity is the National Guard Bureau,
Honolulu, Hawaii (DAHA50-97-C-0003).
NAVY
William G. Tadlock, Incorporated, El Cajon, Calif., is being
awarded a $6,182,568 firm-fixed-price contract for repair of a
bachelor enlisted quarter (Building 850) at the Naval Air
Station, Lemoore, Calif. Work will be performed in Lemoore,
Calif., and is expected to be completed by February 1998.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. This contract was competitively procured with 172
proposals solicited and seven offers received. The Engineering
Field Activity West, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, San
Bruno, Calif., is the contracting activity (N62474-94-C-7451).
Lockheed Martin Federal Systems, Incorporated, Manassas,
Va., is being awarded a $6,322,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract
for the PMS 428 Navy Signal Processor Program Office to provide
technical, engineering management, repair and refurbishment
services in support of the AN/UYS-1(V) spectrum analyzer and
commercial insertion efforts. This contract contains options
which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of the
entire contract to $19,027,799. Work will be performed in
Manassas, Va., and is expected to be completed by January 1998.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval
Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity

Sanders, a Lockheed Martin Company, Microwave Electronics
Division, Nashua, N.H.,
is being awarded a $10,498,517 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for
the design, development, and demonstration of an X-Ray Stepper, X-
Ray point source, and beamline interface design capable of
connecting the stepper and source to form a point source
lithography system which will be used to further reduce the size
of microelectronics. Work will be performed in Waterbury, Vt.
(51%); Somerville, Mass. (27%); Nashua, N.H. (17%); and Madison,
Wis. (5%), and is expected to be completed by April 1998.
Contract funds would not have expired at the end of the current
fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured by a Broad
Agency Announcement and four offers were received. The Naval Air
Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity
(N00019-97-C-2001).
Engineering and Economics Research Systems, Incorporated,
Seabrook, Md., is being awarded a $7,645,232 firm-fixed-price
contract for the procurement and installation of 50 FY 96
Helicopter Night Vision Systems and the procurement of 49 FY 97
Helicopter Night Vision Systems for the Navy and Marine Corps' CH-
53 Transport Helicopter. Work will be performed in Seabrook,
Md., and is expected to be completed by May 1999. Contract funds
would not have expired at the end of the current fiscal year.
This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air

Science Applications International Corporation, Pacific
Technology Services Operation, San Diego, Calif., was awarded a
$6,250,885 time and material contract on 15 January, for feeding,
health care, handling, training, transportation and other support
of the Navy's marine mammals. This contract contains options
which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of the
entire contract to $19,471,246. Work will be performed in San
Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed by January 1998.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. This contract was competitively procured with 28 proposals
solicited and one offer received. The Naval Command, Control and
Ocean Surveillance Center RDT&E Division, San Diego, Calif., is
the contracting activity (N66001-97-C-0029).
