CONTRACTS

AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Federal Systems, Inc., Owego, N.Y., was awarded on January 31, a $30,728,097 face value increase to a firm fixed price contract to provide for production of mainframe memory upgrades for thirteen E-3A Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed March 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom AFB, Mass., is the contracting activity (F19628-95/C-0012, P00011).

Analytic Services, Inc., Arlington, Va., is being awarded a $10,167,491 face value increase to a cost plus fixed fee contract to provide for 83 members of the technical staff for 5 months of analytic and technical services in support of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition's management of system production and development. Contract is expected to be completed June 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Air Force Office of Scientific Research, Bolling AFB, Md., is the contracting activity (F49620-91/C-0031, P00031).

NAVY

GEC-Marconi Avionics Limited, United Kingdom, is being awarded a $24,830,521 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-96-C-0105 to exercise an option for Digital Flight Control System (DFCS) test articles, 80 DFCS production units, integrated logistics support, spare and repair parts, flight test support, a reliability and maintainability program, a system safety program, test sets, and associated technical data to address F-14 safety of flight issues. Work will be performed in Rochester, Kent, England, and is expected to be completed by April 1999. Contract funds would not have expired at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

AAI, Engineering Support, Inc., Hunt Valley, Md., is being awarded a $7,625,503 ceiling-priced, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity, time and materials contract for the Base Realignment and Closure relocation of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division propulsion test equipment from Trenton, N.J., to Patuxent River, Md. Work will be performed in Trenton, N.J. (40%), and Patuxent River, Md. (60%), and is expected to be completed by July 1999. Contract funds would not have expired at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 21 proposals solicited and three offers received. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00421-97-D-1193).
