AIR FORCE
McDonnell Douglas Corp., Long Beach, Calif., is being
awarded a $24,064,150 face value increase to a fixed-price
incentive-firm contract to provide for retrofit kits in the noted
quantities for the following components of the avionics system on
the C-17 aircraft: 40 kits of Group A Hardware of the Core
Integrated Processor and 32 Station Keeping Equipment 2000 kits.
Contract is expected to be completed September 1998. Contract
funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base,
Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-95/C-2027, P00045).
Grumman Aerospace Corporation, Melbourne, Fla., is being
awarded a $7,620,892 face value increase to a cost-plus-incentive-
fee contract to provide for design, development, integration, and
test of replacements for obsolete hardware and software in the
Radar Control Unit of the Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar
System (JSTARS). Contract is expected to be completed February
1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom Air Force Base,
Mass., is the contracting activity (F19628-90/C-0197, P00104).
ARMY
Light Helicopter Turbine Engine Co., St. Louis, Mo., is
being awarded an $8,669,000 modification to a cost-plus-fixed-fee
contract for T800-LHT-800 Engine and Air Vehicle support for the
RAH-66 Comanche. Work will be performed in Indianapolis, Ind.
(50%); and Phoenix, Ariz. (50%) and is expected to be completed
by March 30, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of
the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract
initiated on May 23, 1995. The contracting activity is the U.S.
Army Aviation and Troop Command, St. Louis, Mo. (DAAJ09-92-C-
0453).

NAVY
Alliant Techsystems Inc., Magna, Utah, is being awarded a
$7,169,419 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to support the
Intermediate Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty for the Fleet Ballistic
Missile Program to provide program management, maintenance for
government facilities, training, and supplies to support the On-
site Inspection Agency. This contract includes options which, if
exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to
$14,299,489. Work will be performed in Magna, Utah, and is
expected to be completed by January 1998. Contract funds in the
amount of $67,435 will expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Navy's
Strategic Systems Programs, Arlington, Va., is the contracting
activity (N00030-97-C-0037).
