CONTRACTS
NAVY
Northrop Grumman Corp., Bethpage, N.Y., is being awarded a
$59,300,000 firm-fixed-price contract to upgrade 20 FY 1982
configuration EA-6B aircraft to the FY 1989 configuration. Work
will be performed in St. Augustine, Fla. (45%); Bethpage, N.Y.
(36%); and Rolling Meadows, Ill. (19%), and is expected to be
completed by February 2000. Contract funds would not have
expired at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was
not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command,
Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00019-96-C-0123).
ARMY
Ilex Systems Inc., Moorestown, N.J., is being awarded a
$4,023,696 increment of an estimated $26,792,853 delivery order,
as part of a $44,159,632 time and materials, indefinite
delivery/indefinite quantity with award fee contract for Life
Cycle Software Engineering (LCSE) support for the U.S. Army
Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM) Software
Engineering Center (SEC). The project will include Intelligence
Fusion Systems (IFS) for intelligence fusion, and terrain and
weather systems. Subcontractors for this effort are Gutierrez-
Palmenberg Inc., Sierra Vista, Ariz., and Advanced Systems
Technology Inc., Lawton, Okla. Work will be performed at Ft.
Huachuca, Ariz. (88%), and at various sites outside of the
continental United States (12%), and is expected to be completed
by Feb. 12, 1998. There was an announcement on the electronic
bulletin board on Aug. 3, 1995, and three bids were received.
The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications and
Electronics Command, Ft. Monmouth, N.J. (DAAB07-96-D-H510).
