CONTRACTS
ARMY
Hellfire Systems, Limited Liability Co., Orlando, Fla., was
awarded on Feb. 25, 1997, an $83,403,000 modification to a firm
fixed price contract to exercise Option 5 (FY97) for 1,800
HELLFIRE II Missiles. Work will be performed in Orlando, Fla.,
and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2000. Contract
funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
This is a sole source contract initiated on Feb. 1, 1990. The
contracting activity is the U.S. Army Missile Command, Redstone
Arsenal, Ala. (DAAH01-90-C-0323).
NAPCO International Inc.*, Hopkins, Minn., is being awarded
an $11,614,163 firm fixed price contract for 401 each M113A3
Personnel Carrier Conversion Kits, used for the upgrade of the
M113 Family of Vehicles. Work will be performed in Hopkins,
Minn., and is expected to be completed by March 19, 1998. Of the
total contract funds, $6,169,119 will expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on
Dec. 1, 1996. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-
automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich. (DAAE07-97-C-X065).
Gichner Shelter Systems*, Dallastown, Pa., is being awarded
a $6,713,520 modification to a firm fixed price contract to
exercise the option for 55 Standardized Integrated Command Post
Systems (SICPS), Rigid Wall Shelters (RWS). Work will be
performed in Dallastown, Pa., and is expected to be completed by
Dec. 30, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. There were three bids solicited on May 12,
1996, and three bids were received. The contracting activity is
the U.S. Army Communications & Electronics Command, Ft. Monmouth,
N.J. (DAAB07-96-C-E004).
GTE Government Systems Corp., Taunton, Mass., is being
awarded a $7,394,794 modification to a firm fixed price contract
to exercise Option 4 for common hardware/software, software
maintenance, and software licenses for various customer orders.
Work will be performed in Taunton, Mass., and is expected to be
completed by April 26, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at
the end of the current fiscal year. There were 50 bids solicited
on April 21,
1993, and three bids were received. The contracting activity is
the U.S. Army Communications & Electronics Command, Ft. Monmouth,
N.J. (DAAB07-94-C-N853).
General Electric Company, Aircraft Engine Business Group,
Lynn, Mass., is being awarded a $13,727,188 modification to a
firm fixed price contract to exercise the option for 12 each 701C
Install Engines (National Guard) and 14 each 701C Install Engines
(for the country of Columbia). Work will be performed in Lynn,
Mass., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 30, 1997.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. This is a sole source contract initiated on July 8, 1993.
The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation and Troop
Command, St. Louis, Mo. (DAAJ09-94-C-0044).
Lockheed Martin Vought Systems Corp. (formerly Loral Vought
Systems Corp.), Grand Prairie, Texas, is being awarded a
$7,291,221 modification to a firm fixed price contract for
definitization of an unpriced contractual action (P00224) of FY96
low rate initial production (LRIP) quantity of 70 Army Tactical
Missile Systems Block 1A Guided Missile and Launching Assemblies
and warranty; and 72 Block 1 Missile Variants in support of a
foreign military sales requirement (Turkey). Work will be
performed in Dallas, Texas (98.2%); and Horizen City, Texas
(1.8%), and is expected to be completed by July 31, 1999.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Oct. 28, 1994.
The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Missile Command,
Redstone Arsenal, Ala. (DAAH01-92-C-0038).
C O R R E C T I O N
Contract DAAH01-91-C-0002, announced Feb. 25, 1997, was awarded
additional funding of $93,057 in the modification to the
contract, increasing the modification to $47,835,832, and
bringing the cumulative total to $212,105,047.
NAVY
International Technology Corp., Martinez, Calif., is being
awarded a $1,671,107 modification to previously awarded contract
N62474-93-D-2151 for environmental remedial action under Phase II
of the basic contract for removal/closure action of six
underground storage tanks and associated drywells at Installation
Restoration Program Site 1 at the Naval Air Field Fuel Farm,
Naval Air Weapons Station, China Lake, Calif. Work will be
performed in China Lake, Calif., and is expected to be completed
by October 1997. Contract funds will expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. The Engineering Field Activity West, Naval
Facilities Engineering Command, San Bruno, Calif., is the
contracting activity.
Lockheed Martin, Government Electronic Systems, Moorestown,
N.J., is being awarded a $8,632,630 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract
for Combat System Ship Qualification Trials (CSSQT). The CSSQT
will encompass planning and support for the Japanese DDG 2316 in
support of
Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program. Work will be performed in
Moorestown, N.J. (54%),
and Japan (46%), and is expected to be completed by June 1999.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal
year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval
Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity
(N00024-97-C-5176).
Hughes Missile Systems Co., Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded
a $6,500,000 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-
94-C-5434 for completion of the Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM)
Block 1 Guided Missile Launching System (GMLS) development
effort. This contract includes two options which, if exercised,
would bring the cumulative value of the entire contract to
$8,576,466. Work will be performed in Tucson, Ariz., and is
expected to be completed by September 1998. Contract funds will
expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea
Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.
AIR FORCE
Dentrust Dental International, Inc., Richboro, Pa., is being
awarded a $5,580,084 firm-fixed-price requirements contract for
dental services for active duty Air Force members in the Denver,
Colorado area. Contract is expected to be completed in Sept.
2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of current
fiscal year. The solicitation was issued in Nov. 1996 and
negotiations were completed in Feb. 1997. Human Systems Center,
Brooks Air Force Base, Texas is the contracting activity F41622-
97-D-0002.
McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, St. Louis, Mo., is being
awarded a $283,210,869 firm fixed price contract for
definitization of long lead contract for 25 F-15I aircraft and
related effort for the Government of Israel and the Israeli Air
Force. Contract is expected to be completed in May 1999.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of current fiscal year.
The solicitation was issued in May 1994 and negotiations were
completed in Oct. 1996. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-
Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio is the contracting activity F33657-
94-C-2195-P00014.
PRB Associates, Inc., Hollywood, Md., is being awarded a
$8,157,153 cost plus award fee contract to develop an automated
tool that aids the Joint Force Air Component Commander (JFACC,
the Area Air Defense Commander (AADC), and their staffs in the
Joint Air Operations Center (JAOC) in campaign planning for joint
theater air and missile defense. Contract is expected to be
completed in Jan 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end
of current fiscal year. The solicitation was issued in Dec.
