CONTRACTS
NAVY
Centennial Contractors Enterprises, Inc., Vienna, Va., is
being awarded a $20,000,000 fixed-price, indefinite-quantity
construction delivery contract to provide construction,
alteration, and repair of Federal Government facilities and
installations including the Resident Officers In Charge of
Construction at Norfolk, Yorktown, Oceana (Virginia Beach),
Little Creek (Virginia Beach), and Norfolk Naval Shipyard
(Portsmouth), Va. This contract includes options which, if
exercised, would bring the cumulative value of the entire
contract to $100,000,000. Work will be performed in Yorktown,
Va. (20%); Norfolk, Va. (30%); Virginia Beach, Va. (25%); and
Portsmouth, Va. (25%), and is expected to be completed by March
1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current
fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 97
proposals solicited and 13 offers received. The Naval
Facilities Engineering Command, Atlantic Division, Norfolk, Va.,
is the contracting activity (N62470-99-D-9997).
