NAVY
Imation Enterprises Corp., Vadnais Heights, Minn, is being
awarded a $6,728,068 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-
delivery/indefinite quantity contract for the mastering and
replication of classified and unclassified CD-ROMs for Navy
Tactical Development and Evaluation. Work will be performed in
Vadnais Heights, Minn., and is expected to be completed by March
2001. Contract funds in the amount of $38,872 will expire at the
end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively
procured with 21 proposals solicited and two offers received.
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, West
Bethesda, Md., is the contracting activity (N00167-97-D-4000).
ARMY
ROXCO Ltd., Brandon, Miss., is being awarded a $7,887,116
firm fixed price contract, (cumulative total $8,275,906 with one
option) to replace Junior NCO housing. The project will include
demolition of 123 existing multi-family and single family housing
units and five garage buildings, roads, utilities and all
asbestos and lead containing materials in an existing
neighborhood. The work includes masterplanning, design and
construction of 56 new units (36 three-bedroom units) and
construction of all new neighborhood amenities, including
masterplanning for an additional 50 units to be built in the
future. The completed neighborhood shall consist of all new
utilities, site improvements, new housing units and playground.
Work will be performed at MacDill Air Force Base, Fla., and is
expected to be completed by July 15, 1998. Contract funds will
not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 50
bids solicited on Aug. 7, 1996, and four bids were received. The
contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile,
Ala. (DACA01-97-C-0042).
NCI Information Systems Inc.*, McLean, Va., is being awarded
a $1,200,000 increment as part of a $44,817,327 (five years base
period) cost plus award fee contract for test engineering and
analysis, software development, and test support services for
White Sands Missile Range testing of missile defense, smart
munitions, battle management, commercial and military space
missions and other systems. Work will be performed at White
Sands Missile Range, N.M., and is expected to be completed by
Sept. 30, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the
current fiscal year. There were 185 bids solicited on May 28,
1996, and eight bids were received. The contracting activity is
the U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command, White Sands, N.M.
(DAAD07-97-C-0109).
