Information and Information Technology impact almost every function of the Department of Defense—from tactical units to the supply lines that support them.

In fact, Joint Vision 2010’s central goal is the capability of collecting, processing, and disseminating a steady flow of information to U.S. forces, while exploiting or denying an adversary’s ability to access that information.

While these information technologies enhance our military superiority, they also give us an advantage in the office, resulting in faster, more efficient business practices and insuring the success of the very reforms we’ve been discussing.
