SUBJECT: Department of Defense Reform Initiative Directive #39 - Travel Reengineering
I direct the Director, Administration and Management to submit a plan that transitions the functions performed by the Washington Headquarters Services' travel office to the private sector by October 1, 1998. Please submit this plan for my approval within 45 days of the date of this directive.
