WASHINGTON, Jan. 25, 2008 Ė Joining the Army more than four years ago helped Sgt. Dominic Garza achieve some of his personal goals and improve life for his new family.
Before Garza joined the Army, he didnít have a high school diploma, was working two jobs, and he and his wife had just welcomed a new daughter into the world. He knew it was time for a change, he said, and all it took was a little convincing from his aunt, who had recently joined the Army. Story
