National Guard Lends a Hand in Haiti

Since U.S. Task Force Bon Voizen launched its humanitarian relief exercise in Haiti at the end of April, task force personnel under the command of the Louisiana National Guard have treated more than 800 dental patients and nearly 23,000 medical patients. Veterinary technicians have treated almost 1,500 area animals, and engineers have built a school and two clinics.
