| U.S. Forces Ferry Relief Supplies, Remains |

Airmen from Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan, load equipment and supplies bound for Southeast Asia as part of disaster relief following the 9.0 magnitude earthquake that struck off the coast of Indonesia causing tsunami waves effecting 12 countries and killing at least 138,000 people, Jan. 1, 2005. More than 50,000 Meals Ready to Eat and six aircraft pallets of fresh water are being processed through Kadena's cargo area by the 18th Wing as part of the humanitarian effort.
