| "The red coats are coming!" Members of the Fife and Drum Corps, United States Army 3rd Infantry Regimen, also known as "The Old Guard," practice 6/8 time sequences, including ten fife tunes and ten bugle tunes, Jan.12, 2005, in preparation for the 55th Presidential Inauguration. The corps is composed of 51 active duty soldiers directly recruited to continue a time honored tradition. The Old Guard provides military ceremonial support to the 55th Presidential Inauguration, to occur Jan. 20, 2005. More than 5,000 men and women in uniform are expected to take part in inaugural events.
