| Class of 2009 Arrives at Military Academy |

| Approximately 1,250 cadet candidates, including more than 250 minority candidates, 21 international cadets and 30 combat veterans who served in Afghanistan, Iraq or both, reported to West Point June 27, 2005, to begin six weeks of cadet basic training. The incoming class was selected from a pool of nearly 11,000 applicants. Members of the class of 2009 include cadets from every state in the nation and 16 foreign countries.
