| U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. William T. Lord, Commander, 81st Training Wing, Keesler Air Force Base, Miss., welcomes U.S. Air Force Gen. William R. Looney, Commander, Air Education and Training Command, for a visit Sept. 1, 2005, to survey the damage caused by Hurricane Katrina three days earlier. Katrina battered the Gulf Coast with wind gusts in excess of 140 miles per hour, flattened buildings and flooded areas from Florida to Louisiana.
