Balikatan 2006
A landing craft, air cushion loaded with equipment from the 31st Marine Service Support Group leaves the island of Jolo, Phillipines, bound for the amphibious dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry March 3, 2006, during Exercise Balikatan 2006. More than 5,000 U.S. and Philippine servicemembers participated in the bilateral exercise, which consists of combined field training and humanitarian civic assistance projects.
