URBAN ASSAULT
U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Jeremy Carver emerges from a red plume of smoke during an urban assault while competing in the national Best Warrior Competition in Little Rock, Ark., July 24, 2013. The competition evaluated soldiers on a wide range of field exercises and individual Army warrior tasks. Carver is assigned to Company B, Recruiting and Retention Battalion, Oregon Army National Guard.
