A U.S. soldier, back left, provides security as Afghan workers unload ballot boxes for inventory in Charikar in Afghanistan's Parwan province, July 22, 2014. Workers inventoried the boxes before and after transportation to inspect for damage. The inventory also included checking the serial numbers as part of the process to account for all ballot boxes.
