Undersecretaries on Stage for Dec. 18 Pentagon 'Town Hall' Meeting

WASHINGTON, Dec. 17, 2002 The four undersecretaries of defense will participate in a Pentagon town hall issues forum Dec. 18 at 11 a.m. to focus on items of interest in their areas.
The undersecretaries are Douglas J. Feith, policy; Dov S. Zakheim, comptroller; David S.C. Chu, personnel and readiness; and Edward C. "Pete" Aldridge Jr., acquisition, technology and logistics.
Each undersecretary will have opening remarks followed by questions from a live audience of military members and civilian employees.
In addition to a live webcast on DefenseLink, www.defenselink.mil, the meeting will be broadcast on American Forces Radio and Television Service and The Pentagon Channel.
Persons with access to Ku-band satellites can view the event on the Galaxy 11 satellite, Transponder 15K analog (downlink frequency 12003 megahertz horizontal polarity), 91 degrees West longitude. The satellite signal will be available at 10 a.m.
The undersecretaries forum is designed as a follow up to the "Big Four" Pentagon town hall meeting on Nov. 12. Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz, Joint Chiefs Chairman Air Force Gen. Richard Myers and his vice chairman, Marine Gen. Peter Pace, took part in that session.
