Service before self: Avionics technician saves time, money with F-16 innovations Air Force Senior Airman Christopher Caruso is an avionics technician assigned to the 555th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance. During his deployment at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, he designed two innovations that are saving the Air Force man-hours and money, significantly decreasing the time it takes to repair an F-16 and its components.
