Test System Researchers at the Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense have invented a ChemDx Test System that reduces from four minutes to 20 seconds, the time it takes to get a blood sample and diagnosis. One side of a chip card has a pin that pricks the skin for a blood droplet. The other side of the chip goes into an electronic diagnostic device that prints out the results. The device was on display at the Pentagon during the 3rd biennial Lab Day, April 25, 2019.
